[Applied] Surf Timed Event

As the surf servers been steadily growing in popularity over the past few weeks, I feel like we should hold an event for the server. Nothing crazy, maybe just a timed event like were doing on bhop at the moment. As for maps some of the maps I have in mind could be surf columns, surf_mesa, or really any of the tier one maps. I know a few frequent players would love to have this as an event or any event on the server just to help it grow more.

We’ve had multiple timed surf events in the past, I don’t see why we can’t have more since it’ll get players on our server.

I think this would be a great idea to help populate the server and give the players on the server some fun.

Was planning to do one before I stepped down for either Surf_Mesa or Utopia, but I was waiting for the zoning problems to be fixed. But yeah we should definitely use a tier 1 map.

This would be great for the server. I suggest that the map be surf_summer as it's a longer map with much improvement to be made for most people. Otherwise, it could be used for a new map that would be added.
