discord screen share application audio not working?

I need help with discord

I'm screen sharing for a friend while I'm playing black desert online but we can't seem to get the audio working for him to hear the game. A friend told me to follow these steps- https://appuals.com/fix-discord-screen-share-audio-not-working/ but don't know, will it work? Also, I figured to ask here since there's a lot of nice people here that can respond quickly.

Are you sharing your screen or streaming the game? They’re two different options. If you can’t find the “Stream ____” option you can click Share Screen or Window and click the window tab which will allow you to use sound when sharing your screen in DM calls.
