my friend told me that "skin spamming" picking up and dropping the weapons to have your skin on them even if your not gonna use that weapon they said it was against the rules and im wondering if that's true or not?

No why would it. You can pick up as many weapons as you want and drop as many as you want. There in nothing wrong with doing what you described.

Not against the rules at all, guns are pretty spread out anyway so it’d be pretty hard to mass “skin spam”.
