So, It's 4.30 am... (4:53 am as I write this)

 

I've had a person walk in, who wants a room, and he wants alcohol as well, but our bar closes at 1 am.

 

So, I've said no, he's flashed a £50 note in front of me, and said, you give me 8 bud and you keep the change (£24 change) $47 something for you Americans)

 

SO, I've hesitated and said yes (Even tho, £24 is nothing to me, It's always good to have some extra cash for free??)

 

Then 20 minutes later his movies are not working, but he gives me £20 ($39 something) for fixing it (Not a bribe)

 

So in under 1 hour, I've made £32 ($63 something I think for you Americans).

 

Was I bribed or was I tipped, that is the question we ask! :001_cool:

no matter what it was nice one..I mad 20$ like that once for like carying one laugage for some dudes wife and taking them to their room. Prolly most easy 20 bucks of my life!!

I would say it was a tip / service provided.. If it was a bribe, he would want you to actually open the bar for him.. There he just got a couple of beers..

 

I've only gotten 1 tip lately, really.. Carried the grocery-goods to some old farts apartment - earned me a whole $4!! And I was even supposed to do it, so it was a tip ..

a working tv is probably part of your service where you work hotel/brothel w/e, whereas having alcohol isn't.

yeah i think he strongly hinted that GarfieldH join him upstairs with some beer, but being naturally slow witted Garfield didn't realise he was coming onto him, the man must of tried hard..he even broke the tv deliberately just to see Garfield bending over to fix it.
