Poolclosed has its own radio station set up, but they only broadcast during raids, and such.

If you guys are really serious about doing something like this, its gonna take a bit to set up. First thing is we need to get some advertising done. This will generate the revenue we'd need to set up a server to run off of. It would need its own dedicated to use all the space needed for songs and audio files and bandwidth. Second, we need to work with record lables on securing the correct rights to air songs. It is illegal to broadcast copywrited music over public servers. This can be a challenge but usually when dealing with lables if you are up front with your intentions and we wouldn't be turning a profit so they'd most likely be willing to allow us to play music.

This would be a significant amount of work but if the right people get serious about this, it can be pulled off. If you are serious about helping, let me know of what you are willing to do, ie. help find people to sell advertising space, write commercial spots, produce commercial spots, contact music labels to get rights or find ways to do so. Then we can start figuring out DJ's. The ground work must be laid out first otherwise this will never leave the ground.
