Im going to close the thread as it seems that the most we got out of it is that people don't read the rules and that since there isn't a rule explicitely saying you can't mow every detective down with a H.U.G.E 249 i'm allowed to

If you've played recently you might be faced with a situation where you die as a detective to an innocent, but because of some stupid loophole they're not in the wrong. There should never be a reason for this to happen, can we add a rule that states you can't kill a detective for any reason unless they damage you first, I feel like this would eliminate a bunch of the pandemonium that happens when an innocent kills a detective for being in a kos area or having a kos gun or some other circumstance where they are kos, then another innocent kills that innocent, then an innocent kills that innocent.... you know the rest.

 

Did you not read the rules / faq we have for TTT?????? Also players should not be killing detectives who are in the T room. The only reason players get killed for being in there is that they are suspected to be a traitor as only traitors can only open it. Obviously a detective cannot be a traitor so they were not able to open it.

 

This is TTT not JB, it is not called a KOS area nor are there KOS areas.

 

Well theres no rule stating that explicitly--If there is please link it--and admins aren't enforcing it, maybe putting it in writing instead of a weird grey area would help, either this thread can serve as that, or actually put it in the rules.

Yes, you can KOS someone for having an AWP, MP5, or Health shot under any circumstances, unless they are a detective.

Q- Are you allowed to kill Detectives that are RDMing?

A-

If a detective is damaging you, you are allowed to kill them in self defense. Otherwise killing a Detective as an Innocent or Detective is prohibited.
