Maps could be voted/picked out by the community. Probably just some competitive maps off gamebanana that look like fun. There really isn't much else to explain, its scrim on non Valve developed maps. Scrim events always seem to do really well and I think they are lots of fun. 3 Link to comment

Nipper has classic maps and these are personal favorites of mine, @Black Rain can back me up on how fun these are. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=174992336 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=286732696 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=180088707 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=177754941 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=284275313 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=300560911 And then some of his maps I haven't played that look fun. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=742725207 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=603076698 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=298307292 (? maybe on this one? i forgot if i played this) Honestly with these maps I suggested, I guess for the future: these maps alone that I suggested we could have a time period of like a weekend (or a whole week) where we swap out our normal map pool and play Nipper's maps. You just have to play these to experience these to know what's up... also S U R R E A L I S M. (if this gets lost i'll prob just toss a thread out in the future) 3 Edited March 23, 2020 by Reid99 Link to comment

Gentoo Posted March 23, 2020 Content Count: 1583 Joined: 06/19/17 Status: Offline Share Posted March 23, 2020 I'm totally on board with this idea, but why not go for some more polished an balanced maps? There's plenty of maps that have previously been featured in competitive by Valve or that have won various mapping contests that I think would be a good fit. Maybe Tulip, Santorini, Biome? Players might be somewhat familiar with these maps, making them easier to play on without practice, and have a fair bit more polish and balancing than gamebanana randos. Might be a bit closer to what scrim regs would go for, but I'm not sure. 1 Link to comment

(if this gets lost i'll prob just toss a thread out in the future) you had me at Nipper maps Looooong time ago I had a few events on Scrim where I used to do a throwback to operation maps and kept them on rotation for a weekend so people could try them out and see if they enjoyed playing them. Dunno if that interests anyone though and if Trazz would want to attempt that. 3 Link to comment

Dunno if that interests anyone though and if Trazz would want to attempt that. With everyone being in quarantine and this impromptu summer vacation I may actually start doing this. But if I actually want people to try those maps out I’d need to remove the default valve ones as everyone will choose mirage, cache, or inferno over anything else for the most part. I do not see this being a weekend long though (maybe a day event per map?) as players who go on scrim that I’ve seen recently are not there to try new maps all the time but go for what’s familiar. So I do not want to limit people from playing a normal scrim game if they want to. 1 Link to comment
