Nah bro, that shit would get abused like the rep system did when we brought it back, could work but yeah that'd get abused.

It could work if you also add an approve button, have it for actual threads where real discussions take place for servers (or forums) and could steer server managers in directions based on the buttons. I think this is an idea that could work.

I mean, there's already a button for that, it's called not clicking the 'Thanks' link. Obviously, not every non-thanked post means disliked/disapproved; I think context is important in every situation.

As a manager I would prefer actual feedback instead of a simple "no" or "yes" on a thread. Adding a dislike button would encourage those to simply press the button but not give any actual constructive criticism. This would be hard on the manager or whomever posted the thread as they cannot tell what the issue is exactly.
