I've recently gotten into cycling as a hobby and for exercise, and I'm interested in seeing your bikes and the story behind them! I got mine off Facebook Marketplace a few months ago, a Schwinn Ranger 26" mountain bike. It definitely needed work (back derailer didn't shift, handlebar grips were deformed, both tires completely flat, bird shit on the saddle and light rust all-around suggests they kept the bike outside in the elements), so I installed new pedals, a new saddle, new handlebar grips, new chain, new drop bars with a mirror attachment to make it a road bike hybrid, and got a tune-up at a local bike shop to fix the shifting issue. Here are before-and-after pictures of my bike. I just added bike tape to my handlebars this evening, so that won't show in the after pictures. Before: After: Link to comment
