I booted up my computer this morning and when I open Steam all the text is missing. I have rebooted and reinstalled steam and still have the issue. Here is a screen shot. Link to comment

But I know my computer recieved a windows update last night, I haven't checked my steam to see if its like yours but its also possible that windows messed it up. Edit....nope now I think daZe got it...it makes much more sence that a font file got moved or deleted. Link to comment

SpikedRocker Posted October 24, 2008 Content Count: 6242 Joined: 04/13/08 Status: Offline Share Posted October 24, 2008 Check your fonts folder for Tahoma and Verdana. Those are the ones steam uses primarly. Link to comment

Chêvouÿx Posted October 24, 2008 Content Count: 1079 Joined: 04/21/08 Status: Offline Share Posted October 24, 2008 I've been having the same problem except my text is super, super small. Like, in the community tab, if I view , let's say someone's stats for HL2 Ep2, "0.2" Hours goes to (even smaller than) "0.2 Hours." --- This is the response I got from Steam: 90% of all my text displayed on the steam community are itsy-bitsy. I don't know why, it started a week ago. I have a screenshot of an example. Hello Lance, Thank you for contacting Steam Support. Please exit Steam, then go to the C:\Program Files\Steam directory (this is the default with a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it), and delete all of the files except for: Steam.exe And the folder: \SteamApps\ Restart your computer and test the issue. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns. Their advice never helped, so I've learned to adapt; however, I'd love to have normal-szied text again  By the way, I know there are websites out there that let you download fonts. Anyone know of any that don't have viruses? Link to comment
