Since that is what a community does for each other and what a forum is all about. There are many programs out there to edit video/film. It really all depends on what you want to do and how creative you want to get. Windows comes with a free video editor. Its called Windows Movie Maker. Just look for it in your start menu. Then you have Adobe Premiere. It's not cheap, but it is one of the better programs. http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/ Then you have Final Cut Pro. This is a product from Apple. And more and more of the industry is going to this. Also not cheap. http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/finalcutpro/ Then there is Avid. Avid is what allot of Movie houses use to edit their films. Even though more and more are going to Final Cut. But this is still one of the best products out there. This is the highest priced one. http://www.avid.com/products/professional-film-video.asp Bust then if you go to download.com you could search for some cheap ones. I believe even programs like Nero comes with a simple editing tool these days. I hope this helped. Link to comment

When this could have been just as easily: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=how+to+edit+video+clips&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq= Sorry, I didn't realize I was unable to reply half-jokingly to a question of a person I know well that could have been just as easily answered through Google. I wish I would have replied with an essay like you; you totally 1upped me there. Congratulations. ^____^ Link to comment

At work we use a simular thing to Avid called NewsEdit or something its made by GrassValley but requires a bunch of hardware you will not beable to get. Lots of people who use special effects in video prefers Final Cut cause it is encorporated in the program but I'd just use After Effects and it doesn't bother me. The big key here is knowing how to use the program. Link to comment
Modgers1 Posted October 26, 2008 Content Count: 2903 Joined: 02/01/08 Status: Offline Share Posted October 26, 2008 I do all of my video-work on my Macbook. I absolutely LOVE iMovie HD and Final Cut Pro. I mostly use iMovie for making the movies and editing clips, but if I need to extract clips from movies or other videos, I use Simple Video Splicer. Sorry if this doesn't help, but this is just pointed to all those Mac-owners. -Modgers Link to comment
