This is a live rendition of a song composed specifically for a set of rhythm games in Japan called Guitar Freaks/Drum Mania, which are the pioneers of guitar/drum sim games. The guy talking at the beginning is one of Konami's big in-house composers. He's got his own solo album out and I can't for the life of me find it anywhere.
