Do you have to have background information of creating maps/models to be a SM or you dont have to?

No, I knew little to nothing coming in as a server manager in relation to maps and models. There are resources, websites, and guides available to us (anyone really), and we get basic training from the Lead Server Manager who explains some stuff. I'd say your first month of working with models is a bit messy, but you get used to stuff quickly. The Modding Team (and cutie @20 scrolls ) is there to help with any mapping issues.
