So, with the start of COVID, schools all across America were forced to shut down and start online school. After the Summer ended and we were back in September, they decided to try something called "Hybrid" where you go to school one day, at home online another day.

But now, since cases are decreasing in many states, schools are now fully opening up, and having EVERYONE go to school with 0 online (unless you're a full remote pussy)

Im in favor of going in full time, I do better work in school vs when I'm at home.

What are your viewpoint on going full in-school?

I much prefer virtual. My school, starting next monday, is going into hybrid (we were doing full virtual), even though the daily cases keep increasing. I wouldn't have too much of a problem with it, if they didn't force everyone to start school at 7 A.M. instead of what it used to be at 8:30. I still have no trust that every student will act safely, and I feel bad for all the teachers that will have to deal with the select few students. Overall, I can understand the people who want to go back to school, and they should have the option to, but it shouldn't be mandatory (and it shouldn't fuck up everyone's schedule)

fuck that i rather just go online and get an easy A

honestly some of my teachers are complete retards and dont understand technology which can be frustrating but I already know I wont enjoy some of their classes and some of the teachers i had last i have this year which are pretty good classes but overall the bad weigh out the good

I will be going to school for the last quarter to see friends and enjoy some in person school but how my school has been running when i went to go take testing their it sucked so overall online is easier and im more prone to free time at home

also you have to understand I can wake up 10 minutes before class. like when was i ever able to do that

Being in school has taken away the many distractions I have at home, and especially with the lack of motivation I have to do anything school related at home is lacking.

Waking up early sucks, but when we grow up we need to be able to wake up at these times regardless anyways. Kids won't be safe, but trust me @colrite, you have nothing to worry about. My school has been doing this since September and we've only gotten around 20 cases since then.

If you know how to keep yourself safe, don't worry about others, cause no one enjoys being 2 feet away from someones face anymore.

My school has been back since August and we haven’t shut down because of COVID. The only reason we shut down was because of the snow/ice storm that came through 2 weeks ago. The only people who have gotten COVID were students doing athletics.

I have a brother in elementary school and a brother in high school and our school district is going back to school in April. My mom is keeping them home because she doesn't want to risk it. Doesn't make sense to me that we should open the schools back up just because the cases are decreasing. Send them back and then what? Watch the cases go back up? lol. It's projected that a majority of the country will be vaccinated by August or September. I don't think we should risk sending people back to school for the ~2 months left in the school year. There is an option to remain entirely virtual here though.
