Mid March Monthly Move Ups

Hello everyone. We have a couple of monthly promotions to get out so I'll do this and get out of your way.

 

First off, we are bringing someone up who has been on this team for a very long time. He's always around to help and will nonstop bug me for Gmod events. This individual is providing his input for every event and has some amazing ideas to help improve the team. He has shown his complete passion towards the team and it is clear he is ready to manage it. Please join me in congratulating Acer for this promotion to Events Manager. His responsibilities will stay the same with the additional of co-managing the team.

 

While we are on the topic of Events Team, we have two some-what brand new members! These two guys have been previous members of the Events Team and we are happy to be bringing them back. Two great dudes who love to help out this community and they have some great ideas for events. One of them is already helping out by making events. Let's welcome Poke and Strayyz to the Events Team! Their new responsibilities will include:

 

  • Organize, plan, and run events
  • Manage/Promote special events on our servers
  • Manage and monitor gaming tournaments
  • Make sure servers are ready for all special events
  • Schedule events to fill servers in need via the steam community
  • Work with the Server Managers to create events that cater to community interests

 

Up next we got a couple of big promos for this team. This one kid is already a member of like 9 teams but he has shown his strength and has been helping out wherever possible. He's a total powerhouse and we're happy to be promoting him. The other two gentlemen have been great admins and they have a glimmer in their eye that caught the attention of our Lead Advisors. We are happy to be promoting Nate, Jmc, and Arctic wolf to Community Advisors! Their responsibilities will include:

 

  • Work with the higher staff on implementing important decisions and projects
  • Handling player complaints and issuing bans
  • Moderation of the forum
  • Give awards to members on request
  • Send group invitations to members on request
  • Post in-game server problems on the forum
  • Help in any way to make the servers fun
  • Handle reported posts on the forum
 
We now have a some-what bittersweet promotion because he will be replacing our dear friend William on the Design Team. William will be leaving us soon to go serve our country and we would like to honor him by promoting this guy to his position. He's previously been staff here so he knows how it goes but this time he'll be on a new team. Please welcome me in congratulating Benzene on his promotion to the Design Team. He will be taking over Clip of the Month so I hope he does an excellent job. His new responsibilities will be:
 
  • Manage forum and community website themes and layouts
  • Manage all forum and community images (awards, rankbars, etc)
  • Manage forum design sections (signature/avatar requests, etc)
  • Work with Marketing team to manage branding and community logos/external advertising
  • Work with Game Divisions to keep in-game branding and design (map textures for SG) up to date and relevant
  • Work with Marketing team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc)
 
Last but not least, we will be promoting a new member of the community to this team. He's new but we are going to be giving him a shot. Who knows, maybe he'll end up being as great as the rest of our members. Congratulations to CptFlynt on his promotion to the Modding Team. His new responsibilities will include: 
 
  • Work with the Administrative Team to find and fix errors and exploits found in maps, models, textures, etc.
  • Creating and developing projects for the servers including maps, models, textures, etc.
  • Arming requested maps for use on the servers.
  • Porting popular maps and models from other games to CS:GO for use on the servers.
  • Work with the Media Team to develop graphics for completed projects.
  • Work with the Administrative Team and Events Team for the production of event based projects.

 

 

Quick shoutout to Poke for this bribe. He wouldn't have gotten promoted otherwise.
