Time Posted July 8, 2021 Content Count: 210 Joined: 04/24/20 Status: Offline Share Posted July 8, 2021 I mean no offense to anyone So i had this thought about bisexual people. some bi people say that they are well… Bi but then go on to say that they prefer this gender or this this trait more than the other gender. then i wondered why would they be bi if they prefer this more than that. Wouldn’t it be better if they were either straight or gay/lesbian than to be bi if they prefer one thing over the other? 2 Link to comment

kuri Posted July 8, 2021 Content Count: 498 Joined: 01/20/19 Status: Offline Share Posted July 8, 2021 (edited) Some bi people prefer a certain gender over the other, the difference between them and a homosexual is they are interested in both genders. Not just their sex 2 Edited July 8, 2021 by kuri Link to comment

sWz Posted July 8, 2021 Content Count: 971 Joined: 07/09/19 Status: Offline Share Posted July 8, 2021 (edited) If you're a straight guy that doesn't mean you're attracted to, for example, blondes and brunettes the same amount. While a straight guy would still encompass blonde girls as part of their sexual attraction, it doesn't mean they have to be attracted to it the same amount as a brunette. Everyone has preferences and broadening those preferences to cover both sexes doesn't change the fact that some people prefer some traits more than others, and chances are if you're bisexual you believe that sex/gender is comparable to something interchangeable like hair color. This means that while someone who's bisexual will encompass both genders in their sexual attraction, it doesn't mean they are attracted to both equally. Forgot to add that I'm not bisexual, so maybe someone like @20 scrolls would have more information on the subject. 4 Edited July 8, 2021 by dafty Link to comment
