[Applied] Different Default Map

I personally think changing the default to ba_jail_electric_razor_go_pb is a bad idea, since it gets boring after while at lower populations and isn't too fun and gets repetitive for both CTs and Ts. I think jb_vipinthemix_b1 or jp_undertale_v1e, maybe even jb_summer_jail_hdr_fix. They're all filled with secrets for Ts, have many fun death games, and are community favorites (at least from my extremely limited understanding). They are also very fun when able to LR, with the death games being fun. ba_jail_electric_razor_go_pb, comparatively, has no death games, only one feature remotely resembling a game of sorts (soccer), probably has the easiest secrets to check (as CT, you can take three of the guns from the area near armory and check the one secret that teleports you to soccer, essentially making half the secrets impossible to utilize). When you go to LR, since there's no death games, you can only use the few LRs baked into the !lr command.

In the end, ba_jail_electric_razor_go_pb is a bland map with literally no death games, while the other maps listed above (jb_vipinthemix_b1,  jp_undertale_v1e, and  jb_summer_jail_hdr_fix) are some of the best maps on here, packed with features that really show what the game mode ideally should be like. Therefore, just change it to any of the above maps (listed right about here ^)

 

(I don't remember the old default map, so if it was any of the good maps stated above, then just revert it please)

When first reading this I thought it was a stupid idea, I mean razor is easily the most popular map and doesn’t kill pop like all the other jb maps which are far better. (Saying this even though everyone knows I’m a razor enthusiast). But after thinking about it a map like vip would be a great change. It’s pretty much razor but with death games and way more things to do, more appealing than something as bland as razor. I would be down for it and I’m sure @TheZZLwould be too!

I think having electric as the default map is a great idea.  Yea it can get boring and repetitive, but that map, similar to closequarters on ttt, has the best potential to grow server pop.  As the default map, it benefits the sever greatly since people are much more likely to join electric than clouds, which i think was the last default map.  However, I would not be against vipinthemix being the default map as that map can grow pop as well and is far more entertaining to play, but still, electric is IMO the best option.

 

Nonetheless you can just rtv the map if you really want to…

Summer jail? Yeah sure maybe

 

Undertale? Not in a million years, that map is eye cancer and not that good.

 

Vipinthemix? Most likely the best next default map, as its not that huge like summer, but its also not as shit as undertale

We agree with all the idea's that were brought up in this topic and after having a discussion with the staff team we have decided to switch the default map to jb_vipinthemix_b1. 

Thank you to everyone who put there input into the topic and hope to see more suggestions!
