Thoughts on Call of Duty: Vanguard...

So Sledgehammer Games has finally annouced their next Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Vanguard; it's not looking good. I have lost all hope in Call of Duty ever since BO3 game out, and personally this just seems like another COD:WW2 rip off with the MW2019 Engine. Sledgehammer hasn't had a good record ever since Advanced Warfare (I personally liked COD:AW; but oh well.) and it seems like a step in the wrong direction.

Especially with the hypo going on with Battlefield 2042; Sledgehammer has a lot of shoes to fill it which, most likely won't be filled. Honestly, I'm not excited and I think I'm going to be utterly disappointed.

What are you opinions so far? Will this be the next big Call of Duty game ever since the disaster called Cold War, or will this just be thrown in the trash like Infinite Warfare, WW2, AW, and BO4?

If you haven't seen the Teaser Trailer. vvvvvvvvvv

Oh boy first post in a very long time.

Why am i posted? Who fucking knows.

Activi$ion likes money, so that's why every damn call of duty from now on will have warzone intergradation.

Vanguard from leaks seems to take place after WWII ended, and its the start of Task Force 141, who knows.

We did not want another WWII game, and with this games integration into warzone will ruin it more.

The black op weapons broke warzone and once we got 1984 war zone and mixing modern guns with cold war guns really made things weird.

So with World war weapons in the mix, come on.
This game might of been in development longer than Cold War but due to the money printer warzone is, its being put into warzone.

So this game might last while, might take the black ops population down due to vanguard using the IW2021 engine.

People are just waiting for MW2.

But once Battlefield 2042 is out, well sales will drop quick.

why are people even still bothering with the yearly call of duty, battlefield & shitty sports games which are just fucking reskins of the one from previous year every time?

spend your money on some actual good games with devs that put actual work in instead of this trash

Thus the reason people love Battlefield, because their passion and content is incredible for a triple a studio.

I would compare DICE to Naughty Dog but they are two different studios with very different visions.

I enjoy the grind of a new game but once I unlock everything or the things I want to get, I get really bored of the game. When I play Destiny 2, I enjoy it when I have a campaign to complete but once it gets to the point of getting on to get Prime Engrams to increase my light by maybe 1 level a week, the game gets really boring. I invest in the new COD every year because I like the thought of a new game, new shit, and new things to grind for… if that would be playing with new weapons, upgrading said guns, and getting mastery camos for those new guns.

What a disappointment that was.

I'll still buy it for the campaign and for a bit of multi-player. I lasted a month in cold war. Let's see if this is less.

but see, this mentality is why they keep getting away with pushing out mediocre reskins, cause ya'll will just buy it anyway :p

I love paying 60 dollars for barely new character stats and game modes that should’ve been in the game since launch every year. As for CoD Vanguard I’ll buy it for the campaign but really… 100 gigs…. What the actual hell.

if you wanna play the campaign, either pirate the friggin game so they don't get squat, or watch some hyperactive motherfucker on youtube do a "YEEHAAAW THIS YA BOIIII, LETS PLAYYYY" lets play
