SG's Favorite Admin Contest 2021

Ah shit, here we go again.

 

Welcome to another year of the Steam Gamers Favorite Admin Contest! Starting this year, we've adjusted the way the the rounds are being determined and moving forward this will be the layout. With SG branching out to other games again and having servers outside of CS:GO, the rounds are now modified to include all green admins under one category. No more split between Junior Administrator and Senior Administrator. All server admins between CS:GO, Rust, Squad, and TF2 are now under one category called Server Admins, just like the old days. 

In the past, we've always frowned upon people campaigning for themselves during the contest. We're taking the next step by having rules in the contest.

 

1. No campaigning - yeah, you read me. We're making it official. Before you got publicly humiliated for it by getting memed on and being a part of the Wall of Shame. Now you're going to get shit on for doing it and everyone... I mean EVERYONE is watching. All eyes will be on you. You can't escape it. You're fucked.
2. People caught campaigning for others will have their votes revoked from the final count. Bet you didn't think we wouldn't think this through, eh? Sometimes people are caught campaigning for others without participants knowing. We can't necessarily restrict your perms from voting, but we can deduct your vote from the final count  Y'all really trying to get your own friends get memed on for the wrong reasons smh. WHAT KIND OF FRIEND ARE YOU HUH???

 

Additional notes:

• Votes will not be private in the later rounds - unfortunately, this is beyond our control with the current forum features. We're all about anonymity when it comes to this contest, but votes on polls can't be hidden on this version of the forums. Not much I can do about it, sorry folks.
• Be respectful to each other. Every year I have to remind you all that we're all about friendly banter, but don't do anything stupid enough to get you in trouble or cause unnecessary drama. We don't need that shit here. If shit gets out of hand or people feel targeted and harassed then you can kiss the contest goodbye. At the end of the day, this is all for fun and no one should feel like shit because you went too far.
• Rounds are subject to change depending on the amount of people who drop out, along with any rank changes that occur while the polls are up. If you do not want to be a part of the contest then shoot Bom or myself a message on the forums. You can DM either of us on Discord.

 

 

There will be a new poll each day, with each one containing admins of the same rank. The poll will stay open for 24 hours. The people who are in each poll will be randomized. You can vote for multiple people in round one. You cannot change your votes once they are cast, so make sure you're voting for the people you want to vote for. You can vote for yourself, but I strongly urge against it since it makes you look like a douche. The two people who receive the most votes in the groups in round 1 will move on to the next round. 

 

Here's how the schedule will work:

 

Round 1

 

Day 1 - 9 SAs

Day 2 - 9 SAs

Day 3 - 9 SAs

Day 4 - 9 SAs

Day 5 - 9 SAs

Day 6 - 9 SAs

Day 7 - 10 SAs

Day 8 - 10 SAs

 

 

In total, the 16 SAs who win their round will move onto round 2. In addition, the top four SAs who received the most votes but did not win their round will move on, so 20 SAs in total will make it to round 2.

 

 

Day 9 - 6 CAs

Day 10 - 6 CAs

 

 

In total, the 2 CAs who win their round will move onto round 2. In addition, the top CA who received the most votes but did not win their round will move on, so 5 CAs in total will make it to round 2.

 

 

Day 11 - 4 SMs

Day 12 - 5 SMs

 

 

In total, the 4 SMs who win their round will move onto round 2. In addition, the top SM who received the most votes but did not win their round will move on, so 5 SMs in total will make it to round 2.

 

 

Day 13 - 6 IAOs

 

 

In total, the 2 IAOs who win their round will move onto round 2. In addition, the top IA who received the most votes but did not win their round will move on, so 3 IAs in total will make it to round 2.

 

 

Day 14 - 4 TAs

 

 

In total, the 2 TAs who win their round will move onto round 2. In addition, the top TA who received the most votes but did not win their round will move on, so 3 TAs in total will make it to round 2.

 

 

Day 15 - 6 Directors

 

 

In total, the 2 Directors who win their round will move onto round 2. In addition, the top Director who received the most votes but did not win their round will move on, so 3 Directors in total will make it to round 2.

 

Round 2

 

Day 16 - 10 SAs

Day 17 - 10 SAs

Day 18 - 10 CA+

Day 19 - 9 IAO+

 

 

The top 2 from each group will move onto round 3, and there will be four wild cards out of all four groups put together. 12 in total will move onto round 3.

 

 

Round 3

 

Day 20 - 4 admins

Day 21 - 4 admins

Day 22 - 4 admins

 

 

The highest vote receiver from each group + three wild cards from the groups put together will move onto the finals, making 6 admins total in the final round.

 

 

 

Round 4

 

Day 23 - 6 admins, finals

 

 

Once again, this contest is all for fun, and no hard feelings should be held. There’s no need to take it extremely seriously either.
