Congrats to Suri and Zero001

Please join me in welcoming Zero001 back to the position of Vice President of SteamGamers ™ Community. As many of you may recall Zero did an incredible job as our V.P. before he had to take a leave of absence. He has accepted my offer to resume his duties. Zero001 will add an immediate increase in the amount of support and decision making as well as helping improve the flow and experience of this great community.

 

I am also excited to announce that Suricruise will be joining the Board of Directors. With continued diligence as Administrative Manager and excellent decision making Suricruise has what it takes to help lead this community in the right direction. He will now have a direct vote on important decisions and will take on the rest of the duties the BD's have.

 

The BD's will now share the responsibilities of managing the AO's responsibilities and directly be in charge AO Promotions/Removals.

 

As a reminder these are the responsibilities of the BD group:

 

• Support/Build/Fix Servers

• Approve Admin applications

• Set up New Admin access

• Manage Plugins/Server scripts

• Issue admin warnings/punishments

• Keep the community updated of any changes

• Handle all Admin disputes

• Plan for growth (website/servers)

• Support Forum/plugins/logos

• Support Ventrilo Channels/Admins

• Grant access rights to Ventrilo

• Research new mods/server ideas

• Issue perm bans to players

• Promote/Demote server admins

• Manage all public relations/marketing/tournaments

• Be a role model to all admins/setting by example

• Manage payment collections/pay the bills

• Manage AO staffing and responsibilities

• ... anything else that needs to be done
