firebird a good car?

OK i'm 15 and im am elgiable to take drivers ed next year. And my father and I were looking for some good reasonable cars and I found a mettalic red firebird for $2000.00 and that seems good no damage good looking good milage ect. so any of you know if this would be an idea to look at? thanks for the help!

Yea unless there isn't any engine problems $2000 is a damn good deal. Thats the price I got my first car for, a 94' Eclipse.

They're long, wide, slow (no jokes please) and the V6 loves gas. If it's in good condition, $2000 ain't bad. If something goes wrong they're easy to work with and the parts are pretty cheap. Just make sure the transmission is ok, and there aren't any oil leaks. When I was a teen it wouldn't have been my first choice, but if it's being given to you, no sense in crying about it.

I'd say get it, what year is it? I drive a '91 Firebird, and the few problems I've had were easy and cheap to fix.

My first car was a green 1994 Firebird with T-Tops. I fucking LOVED that car. LOVED IT. Had 44k miles on it, which was next to nothing. I guess some guy only drove it on Sundays to church. Such an awesome car. Fun too!
