New Year New Promos!

What's up SG, we hope you all had a great Holiday and New Year's celebration but it's time we celebrate these promos.

 

For our first promotion we have someone returning to the Event Coordinator team. He did an amazing job previously and we have no doubt in our minds he'll be as eager and productive as last time. Please welcome back again Kopsta! Their new responsibilities will include: 

 

• Organize, plan, and run events
• Manage/Promote special events on our servers
• Manage and monitor gaming tournaments
• Make sure servers are ready for all special events
• Schedule events to fill servers in need via the steam community
• Work with the Server Managers to create events that cater to community interests

 

Next up we have everyone's favorite SG streamer who's currently hosting the Wingman Tournament match. This guy has been through a lot over the years on SG and its about time he tried out something new for a change. Please give your warmest welcome to the Design Team newest member Strayyz! Their new responsibilities will include:

 

• Manage forum and community website themes and layouts
• Manage all forum and community images (awards, rankbars, etc)
• Manage forum design sections (signature/avatar requests, etc)
• Work with Marketing team to manage branding and community logos/external advertising
• Work with Game Divisions to keep in-game branding and design (map textures for SG) up to date and relevant
• Work with Marketing team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc)

 

Its time we show our Stream Team some love and introduce a new member into the mix. Some of you love him, some of you definitely dont, Trazz absolutely despises him... Its Mikey! Their new responsibilities will include:

 

• Streaming on the SG Twitch weekly
• Administrating Twitch chat
• Helping grow our Twitch following
• Work with the marketing team on promotional events
• Come up with ways to improve the Twitch channel

 

This one's a good one fellas, we're bringing back another person who's taken a bit of time to themselves but has decided to finally come back into the staff ranks. We've seen this person put in tons of work into this place and express a lot of passion and dedication and we are very glad to see him back. Introducing a returning member for Community Advisor Its Mace! Their new responsibilities will include:

 

• Work with the higher staff on implementing important decisions and projects
• Handling player complaints and issuing bans
• Moderation of the forum
• Give awards to members on request
• Send group invitations to members on request
• Post in-game server problems on the forum
• Help in any way to make the servers fun
• Handle reported posts on the forum

 

Now guys, this is getting a little crazy. We're bringing someone up to Server Manager but, it's not just anyone. This guy terrorizes us in our staff discord, he bullies BoM constantly, and worst of all.... HE'S A MUTE! Without further delay (or he will kidnap my family) please put your hands together for 20 scrolls!

 

• Verify that servers are operational
• Reboot dead/lagged servers
• Assist in training new admins
• Search for new maps for all servers
• Upload maps to the servers and fast downloads site
• Edit map lists & rotations

 

 

Now onto our final promotions for tonight but before that a quick farewell. Due to unfortunate and unseen circumstances pertaining to personal matters, darth jacen has resigned from Marketing Manager. We wish him luck on his future endeavors and for a hopeful return. We understand that the Marketing Team has been left unloved for quite some time and needs a bit of a refreshing boost of energy. So with Darth's resignation we feel that now's the moment that we have two of the brightest and most experienced brains we have for this team and put them together to charge forward. Please help me in congratulating Phoenix. But we're not done there, alongside Phoenix get excited for the return of Mace! We're excited to see how these two will reshape and move the team forward.
