  4. To be fair. I think a lot of this comes down to if people get familiar with the map and knows what it has to offer. Have the same issue with jb_downtown. The map is rarely played, so most players don't know the secrets and the gameplay feels stale. Perhaps making secrets that are obvious but require timing or has some delay is a good idea. Make certain cell secrets visible but maybe only accessible by 1-2 ts and then lock it off. People know electric secrets inside and out because of years of playing it. All regulars are familiar with the design. Try to use similar layout styles as electric in terms of the secrets. Also on another note, remove the glass covering a lot of the games. Make it use model fences, or something else. It does not look appealing and you have a hard time telling if it actually has glass covering it or not. Make sure to change armory. Do not let CT's have an option to stay there and still manage the terrorists. Remove the front window and make a door on the side. Force them to exit asap. Take a look at the light_environment settings, try to mimic what dust2 uses etc for a more polished look. Also add a shadow_control entity and make shadows darker.
  5. I think having a general achievement list across all servers would be a cool first step. Such as having it connected to the store or similar and by completing a certain amount of achievements you'd unlock a SG Regular/Mem tag. Then further along you could add server specific ones that are individual to the server. Certain servers could offer more perks, which is why having both options would be great. As for TTT I agree with what is stated above. Creating a competitive atmosphere and rewarding dedicated players is always a plus.

All exploits have been fixed and the visuals have been given an overhaul. A lot of retexturering, some new props and completely new 3d skybox. The map now also features improved lightning and further optimization.
  9. Google Pixel phones

    I have the Pixel 2 XL currently and I am really happy with it. Never had any major issues with it and I feel like everything is well optimized. The google functions are great and it is compatible both with English and Swedish so that's a major plus for me. The battery is indeed amazing and having the fingerprint scanner on the back has proven to be super convenient when quickly having to find something on your phone. No delay just immediately logged in and able to browse. I also like how it doesn't feel cheap and feels very carefully designed.

A while ago while on the server a lot of people told me how they really enjoyed this map but would like to see it modernized or improved. So I took that to heart and came up with something that plays the same but is easier on the eyes and make it less glitchy. The insides have been kept the same, with the exception of a few props and new textures.   11. This sounds like a fun event for sure! I think it is possible to setup a 10v10 server, or we could try to find one for the event. Would requires some custom plugins though.
  12. Heyo, I'd love for the autobhop vote for each map to be brought back. This used to a thing where after the nextmap was chosen another vote asked if autobhop should be enabled or disabled on the upcoming map. This was great for certain maps that suit better without it enabled.
  13. Looks really good. The atmosphere is lovely! I'd have to try it to understand the scale a bit better, but it definitely is quiet open. Are there any pathways below the main section? I'll give it a test run real soon.
  14. These are both good suggestions, honestly. As for Doms suggestion, it does sound like a cool way to go about it. As long as we get some people to commit and actually finish each round. Then we would have a lot of fun with each stage of a map. As for Kieran, while this may result in more polished maps, chances are 99% of people won't make a map. Because they will expect it not to be good enough etc. The reason I mentioned the 2 hour time limit is just for them to just throw something together instead of imagining something super grand in their head and then back out as soon as they realize what amount of work that would require. We had a Jailbreak porting contest in the modding team a while back, but I was the only one who actually submitted anything. I think it simply required so much planning/work that most people just decided not to even bother. Since I've made so many maps myself I know kind of what I'm getting into. So perhaps just making the 2 hour into a 24 hours or something instead would be optimal.

  16. Not yet decided, but I'd be happy to judge it myself as well. Yes we could use such a system and I'd post what could be needed for the map themselves to be implemented into the server. In other words the map would not have to be 100% in 2 hours, but a playable functioning version is required. After the challenge the polishing could start so we could test the maps on the servers. This way we could increase the map pool in a fun intuitive way.
  17. Yeah good point. So the .vmf should be done in 2 hours. The compiling itself and packing of custom assets can be after the time has passed if required.
  18. This idea just came to me and figured I might as well suggest it here. So the idea would be that we set a specific time where you can start a new map. As in a brand new .vmf file in hammer. Where you are allowed to make a level for a time of two hours. To make sure no one is cheating I'd recommend streaming the map making. The goal would be to be able to create a functional level, for one of the SG servers in this time period. For example creating a AM map could take you 20 minutes, while a TTT one might push it and could be a bit tough to create in time. I myself could offer to be both a participant and help for those interested in giving it a try. I'm sure the rest of the modding team would help aswell. So what do you all think?
  19. Yeah I see your point. Well I have a long way to go, would probably be easier for me in Swedish. But with more practice and some better equipment it might become a bit better.

  21. Appreciate it guys! Yeah the layout was also changed slightly and the new minigame rooms are a completely new addition to the level. I realized having the map without them would make it very hard to use for servers with the new modernized jailbreak gameplay.

  25. I took a listen about the first issue on the recording about War Day and cells not opening by themselves. There is a plugin called smartjaildoors which would allow CT Warden to open from anywhere on the map.
