I'm looking to buy a new graphics card, but I've absolutely no experience with this kind of thing and was wondering if any of you guys could help me. Recently my current card has been struggling with Left4Dead and TeamFortress 2, and at the rate games are going these days, my current graphics card is going to be left behind in a few months. I daren't try games like CoD4 even, my computer just can't cope unless the settings are at rock bottom. I know there is information required, such as power supply amongst other things, but I am not sure how to supply this information. I appreciate any help you guys can provide me with. I'm not worried about price either, I'd like the best possible graphics card that is available to me. Also, I am currently using an ATI Radeon HD 2400. ATI cards aren't very good compared to my experience of the nvidia ones. However, since I am running an ATI card at the moment, I have room for another graphics card to run alongside it. Should I stick with ATI and run two graphics cards together, or cut my losses and stick with the reliable nvidia?

They would be muted so I don't see how they could ask. It should be down to the admin and only be used when absolutely sure of a freekill. The script already exists, nobody will have to manually make a new one (Unless you are talking about making a completely new one in order to work well with the other PB scripts in place). Usually when someone is resurrected it says "(ADMIN) [sG] Huwajux resurrected player [sG] SpikedRocker", so it is clear who is getting resurrected, and if a player feels an admin is abusing it then could not a simple demo of the abuse fix this? I would love to find a solution to freekilling but that is clearly proving a lot more difficult (unless of course you were being sarcastic ). I don't think you could ever solve the issue of freekilling with scripts, because a 'freekill' is determined as valid or not by the orders given out by the Ct. If a script was designed to slay freekillers, how would it know what orders were given out? At least with the resurrection script the negative effects of a freekiller are reduced to a minimum. It could also be used when a Ct is trying to kill a rebeller but someone gets in the way. The Ct could tell the admin that he did not mean to kill that person and he could be resurrected. It's a shame if this script is going to be too problematic for the server, because I think if it isn't added, freekill-tell is going to be the only and best thing we've got to tackle freekillers.

I think that having a resurrection command for admins on the Prison Break servers would be a very useful thing indeed. Earlier today I had to slay someone and when I went to hit his name on the list I slayed someone else by mistake. I apologised to the individual as best I could, which unfortunately was all I could really do. However, with the resurrection command admins could revive people who had been blatantly freekilled so as to keep their misfortune to a minimum. People freekill all the time. When someone is freekilled then the slaying of the freekiller is all well and good, but it kind of sucks for the player, since he has to sit out the rest of the round due to someone else's ignorance. Of course, there are a number of issues which could arise if this command was added. Firstly, the abuse of such a command would have to be carefully taken into consideration. Secondly, the mute system that is in place could mess up with people who have been resurrected. And lastly I am unsure as to where the resurrected would spawn, because if it was back in their cells this would cause an irritance to the Cts who are trying to keep and eye on everyone.

There isn't really a reason to lock this thread if people are still posting appropriately in it.

Recently my browsers (I use IE and FF) have been running at an extremely slow rate, and sometimes just refuse to load any sort of webpage. For example, when loading a page of the forums here people's avatars do not show for a good 4-5 minutes. Even their rep does not load properly, like on mine instead of having the green bars it would show "Huwajux has a brilliant future.Huwajux has a brilliant future.Huwajux has a brilliant future.Huwajux has a brilliant future.Huwajux has a brilliant future. " The only way to get things going again is to close the window and re-open it. Even then this boost of speed only lasts for a couple of seconds. Upon closing FireFox when it begins to lag out, when I try to reopen it, I receive a message telling me that FireFox is already running and not responding and advises me to wait or restart my computer. I open up my processes tab and see Firefox.exe running, however there is no window in sight so I just end the process and retry. I really need some advice on this because I daren't open up two tabs and load 2 things at once, because then the little loading icon just goes around and around for days, eventually giving up and saying "Stopped" in the bottom left corner of the screen. That's an example. Also, it doesn't seem to be my internet being really slow because in-game my connection is fine and my ping is as stable as ever.

You said that this forum wouldn't be fun anymore if spam threads were not allowed, I just brought up the worst case scenario, is all.
