  7. Seeing us old players together in the same thread when one of us comes or goes... truly a touching experience It felt only like yesterday when you welcomed me back from my long slumber away from SG (and @Wawa was salty about it, even though deep down in my heart I wanted to tag many more individuals, and he knows it ~ guess we're both bad when it comes to these threads). Regardless, your efforts here are outlandishly remarkable and your place here won't be forgotten. Enjoy the emotional trip through med-school! also, you need to give me a few pointers about getting in, I might need it
  8. Next year, @Matty and I will be waiting for all of you in elevator room.
  9. The old admin applications (during the time when admins can only make decisions as to who became admin) had a poll, which I think is something that we ought to bring back, whilst still requiring those that do vote on the application to post under it with their reasoning - otherwise, their vote is invalidated. The aforementioned is beside the point. With regards to the votes themselves, there were only three possible choices: Support / Reapply / Reject. I think the problem has arisen in the fact that the definition of Reapply has somewhat transformed - becoming more of a reject than it is meant to be. As such, abstaining has provided the means to be the replacement for such a vote, which basically says that "I have some formulated opinion on you, but regardless, I feel indifferent about whether or not you, the applicant, get approved for admin." This becomes even worse when individuals use their abstain vote whilst claiming that they do not see the applicant actively playing on the server. That's just simply ridiculous! Because with that sort of vote, an individual either intentionally or unintentionally throws shade towards the applicant, maliciously questioning their qualifications to become an admin. If you're dumb enough to cast such a vote whilst many others claim that the applicant is perfectly fit to attain an administrator position, any individual can use such a post against you if you ever decide to apply - because in reality, if you hardly see the applicant, is it their fault or is it really yours? (How to Get Away with Murder made me use this tone - really great show) So yes, I do find that the abstain vote is as ridiculous as it coms. As such, what would be the best manner to deviate away from this tendency? Implement the system of having a poll associated with every application, only difference being that you'd have four votes to choose from: Support / Abstain leaning towards Support / Abstain leaning towards Reject / Reject. This reflects the entire spectrum of emotions that you'd have with regards to an applicant. Any prejudices or types of emotions that you've conjured up for an applicant will land somewhere along those four choices. And if you've haven't played on the servers for the past two weeks? Don't vote.
  10. If anyone actually plays Fortnite seriously/decently, do hit me up. Would be dope to have a competitive team of four from here - and one day sponsored if we do show results like delirium said

  21. Hello there
  22. SB++

    I need to maintain my 15+ ban record. If the ban history cannot be retained, then it's best to stick to what we have currently. #RoadTo100Bans
  23. Yeah, I don't know where you thought that our request is to decrease zombie speed below the human's fastest speed (250). From what I see in-game, my best guess is that the zombies' speed is around 275, as @Inception has already mentioned, and it's best to be brought down to 260, or around there.
  24. 4 Thanks dom ^^
  25. I definitely second this idea. More often than not, I find it difficult to hold back zombies at a particular choke point due to their speed, even if the ratio of humans to zombies is 1:1. In addition, the challenge comes to falling back from a hold. More often than not, the humans don't consider throwing a grenade unless you remind them over voice chat, and even then, at the very least, it's uncoordinated as multiple individuals use their grenades lavishly, wasting them for later use; and at the very most, they fail to inflict any significant damage as they get tossed like a seven-year-old's first baseball throw. I am all for backpedaling as I always inform those who fall back to do it, but you've got to do it right or it's pointless. As for @LargeAll's point with regards to making maps certain maps that fall under the category of 'Running Simulators' unable to work, I've got nothing to say other than that those maps are made with the purpose of having the human team win 90% of the time: One or two definite defense points for the entirety of the map. You can literally have the entire human team spam their he grenades for those holds and you're set. That other 10% due to bad rng, resulting in the mother zombie to spawn along with the majority of the human team (i.e the tram) and then losing the round due to outweighed ratio of zombies to humans.
