Pretty much this. I feel like if members of the community want to donate to a certain individual they should, but I think that some people would be upset if their money that they donated to support the community and the servers, ended up going to someone they didn't know. Cases like Lagging's aren't ones that pop up very often, and his is actually the first time I've seen someone make a thread like that (it may have happened before but I haven't seen one). Can't donate anything atm, but will sometime in the coming 2 weeks. I didn't have to pay it, but know what it's like having to go to the hospital and having family be stuck paying bills. Sorry to hear it. Hope you are able to raise some money to help out. Also don't feel bad about going to the hospital. I know it sucks being stuck with the bills, but I think it's better to be safe and having to pay, than to have risked it being something serious that could have ended your life. Better safe than sorry.

I'm the one that started the surge of revoking LR free days, and for good reason. LR free days are nothing but a waste of time and a cop out. What's the point of living long enough into a round (aka not rebelling) to get an LR, only to ask for a free day the next round? I actually hate getting free days as a T, as it only ruins the game IMO. It either makes it easier to rebel, or makes it more likely you get freekilled when the CTs have trouble telling which T has a free day, and which T should be in big cage. LRs are supposed to be fun, usually 1v1 death games, that speed up the round. And in the role play aspect, why would your dying wish, be to have something the next day? Free day LRs were fine when it was maybe once a map. But it got to the point that every T was asking for a free day next round, and if you said no, they would refuse to LR. Like I always said, am I an asshole for revoking it? Possibly. Depends on how you look at it, but pick a better LR next time.

I don't recall that being a thing. If it was, it wasn't used often or for very long. Afaik admins have always needed to have proof before doing something. If someone is really mass freekilling, then you can easily prove that with screenshots and demos. If someone mass freekills once, I understand you not catching it on demo. But a one time offense wouldn't get him banned anyway. If someone mass freekilling, start demoing. Also, blame whichever admin you called in for entering with their tag on. If a player asks me to come take care of a rule breaker, I always change my name first. It's the smart and logical thing to do. If the admin enters with SG on, that's their fault. By all technicalities, you're wrong here. Think of it in terms of sports. A player in their rookie year might see more play time, but that doesn't make them a vet. Especially compared to a player in their 5th year. You might have a lot of play time, but you're still a relatively new member. Really it's a dumb argument. So is PB vs JB.

Feel like the whole armor thing is a lose/lose situation. Before, it was too easy to kill the CTs. Now it's often too hard. Remember Onion saying he would add the helmet as a test to see how it works, and it's stuck so far. Haven't really noticed too many problems since it was added during the summer. CTs aren't unkillable, granted its a bit harder at times. Despite that they still find ways to always die so guess it really doesn't matter.

Are you talking about telling the T you would pardon them, and then killing anyway? Had that exact conversation with Onion before and CTs aren't required to fulfill the pardon. To use the example I asked him, a T kills a CTs. He asks the remaining CT if he can have a pardon, the CT says yes. T comes out, and CT kills him for killing another CT. That is allowed.

I actually linked you to the exact conversations we had months ago, when we resolved this issue. If I must, here are the exact relevant quotes: Everything said then, still applies now. When you hear "round draw" or "Counter-Terrorists/Terrorists win" whatever happened that day, is now the past. You can't force a CT to give a freeday that a different CT ordered the previous round. And "what's the point of doing Deathgames or lr's if we always get denied or revoked", really is a false statement. The LR gets denied/revoked if it's a freeday next round. Pick a better LR. Knife fight, gun toss, shot 4 shot, long jump, surf, soccer match, tic tac toe, crazy maze, colors, breakfloor, dance in disco for a little bit, jump off the diving board etc. etc. The list can go on. So no, we don't need to add a rule forcing CTs to not be able to revoke a LR/deathgame freeday. LRs can still be given and rewarded. Tell the Ts to stop complaining for not getting their freeday, and tell them to actually do something.

CTs aren't supposed to repeat orders. Meaning CTs can't order us to say, soccer or big cage 3-4 times in a row (or more). But the one step out and freeze is perfectly okay, as you aren't spending the whole round there and it isn't the actual order for the round. Although it's funny that most people don't even know the point of one step out, face the back and freeze.

You're channeling your frustration into the wrong problem. We had discussion a few months ago (starts here and continues some here might be more later, but you get my point), and to sum it up for you: ANY order can be revoked by ANY ct at ANY time. /endofdiscussion The problem isn't CT's revoking an LR freeday, the problem is Ts asking for a freeday as their LR. As I said months ago, it's stupid and I initially started the wave of revoking the LR freedays as means of getting Ts to actually do an LR (such as KF, or S4S etc.). It worked for awhile, and I haven't noticed any issues when I've been on since then, but I guess part of it depends on who's playing at the time. And if a T refuses to LR, just do like we also discussed a few months ago. Order him to freeze, ask for an Lr. If he won't LR, make him stay frozen. If he takes a step, warning shot him for moving and keep asking him to LR. Majority of the time they either die for not staying frozen, or they take an LR. Just to clarify Which means all catwalks are KOS, and catwalk means the platforms that connect to armory. So for example avalanche. The platform that connects to the top cells, and leads to upstairs of climb/outside/the ramp to get on top of disco. That platform is not a catwalk and is not KOS.
