  1. Protection like this actually makes cracked copies more convenient, not just free. And the game will be cracked despite any security they put into it.
  2. I'd lug around an M2 .50 until I found somewhere nice to sit back and pick the zombies off. All the limb and head removal power I need. A magnum for my pistol, since it's the stopping power that is needed; if one shot can tear their head off, then hey, who really needs a 20 round clip? (Unless it is in zombie mod in which case, I might need something that fires a little faster.) (That .60 cal is - if only barely - impractical.) And maybe a katana for melee. The machete gets a bit too close for my immune system to feel safe in the presence of those infected zombies!
  3. Yeah... that would be REALLY damn difficult. One in each hand with any accuracy is hard enough. lol sorry, I had to point that out.
  4. I've seen that AA-12 shotgun video a few times - never fails to impress
  5. oooOOOOOO

The funny part wasn't so much him getting hurt as it was his friends just laughing at him and not bothering to really help at all.
  6. oooOOOOOO

That was awesome... I too love how nobody really gives a damn about him and just laughs.
  7. Mal'Ganis Horde But I quit 3 months ago, and might come back next expansion.
  8. Be sure to read the red text over the download link after you start downloading it. It provides the beta key. You need that for the free game to actually work. The download isn't the main point to the *free game*. It's the free beta key. The download of the installer has always been free. It's the beta key that usually costs money. The red text above the download link that you need to pay attention to reads: "The file you are downloading requires a beta key. It will display on this page within 1 minute of your download starting. Do NOT close this page until then." Then changes to: "The file you are downloading requires a beta key. Your beta key is @#@@@@#@@@@#@@#@" This being said, you also need to go onto the game's site and create an account to make use of this beta key, otherwise, you've just download the installer client, and you did not actually take any advantage of the free giveaway. *pay little attention to where it tells how many people have downloaded the file, it is inaccurate and is not updated in real time*
  9. Wow. (people are stupid, not Warcraft )
  10. Top 5 Games

Posted this in the "Top 5 PC Games" thread someone had made (Mar. 31), didn't realize that the thread had already been made.
  11. Poor Gomer Pile...
  12. Strange laws

Were you trying to demonstrate to him that jumping off of the bridge was a bad idea, and could result in severe long term brain damage? I think you got your point across. jkjk
  13. If you infect yourself with a terminal illness or disease on purpose, is it considered suicide? lol Sorry about your uncle though.
  14. If the mapper wanted it to be impenetrable, he would have made it thicker. Given that it can be shot through, go for it.
  15. Well life can suck, I know this well. So far in my life, the only way I have got by is ignoring it. Keeping my mind focused on the moment, or distracted with things like my computer (though I know this isn't going to fix it). I avoid dwelling on how life is going. Obviously, one's hardships are difficult to explain without going into detail, but I'll just say that the last time I remember being happy with life was when I was 8, and mostly carefree. Besides... it could be worse... I could be this guy: (I made this character a fairly dumb brute, so his dialog options are somewhat limited) (Past bad, no talk. Things good now?) (Me... uh... you... You no have wife or child?) Oh yeah! The advice part! Don't dwell on your troubles. It will only make things far, far worse.
  16. Hide and Seek

Yeah surf is popular, dodgeball is empty.
  17. Hide and Seek

Yeah a bunch of us just played it tonight, it was rather fun. [Counter-Strike: Source] One team selects from different objects in the map to change their player model to, and has 35s to find somewhere to hide (they can change models at any time, and can continue to move for the whole map). The other team waits 35s then gets to go looking for the other players. When players on this team attack and don't hit a player (if they are suspicious of something, they shoot it or knife it), they lose hitpoints. But if they hit the enemy players, they gain hitpoints. The objective is to stay alive (or hidden for that matter) the whole map, or find the hiding people, depending on your team. A nice variation we played tonight was that players lost about 60 hp if they attacked, so two attacks and they were dead. But the knife's secondary (slower, powerful, right click) attack lost no health. So players could go around prodding stuff with their knife if they were suspicious, but couldn't do much shooting. This also means that the seeker team had to chase any hiders that decided to run (chase with their knife) rather than just shoot them. This made for some fun gameplay, and hiders running around with models that were no good for hiding (like vans, 6 foot high crates, toilets, mailboxes) with seekers chasing them franticly with knives. It made for some good entertainment. Fun gameplay with hide & seek in CSS!
  18. very important

You're only annoying every now and then.
  19. Top5 PC Games

My top 5: 1) Battlefield 1942 (and Desert Combat mod) 2) Fallout 2 (Fallout 3 had better live up to Fallout 2. If it does, Fallout 3 will be AMAZING.) 3) Diablo II - Lord of Destruction (hackers and botters ruined it) 4) Half-Life (and mods) 5) Monkey Island (I, II, III) (and most other Lucas Arts point & click puzzle games from that time - Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, The Dig, Grim Fandago, Full Throttle, etc.) To list a few down that just come to mind and were memorable... The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Battlefield 2 Battlefield 2142 Call of Duty 1, 2, 4 Half-Life 2 (and mods) Counter-Strike: Source World of Warcraft Sid Meier's Pirates! Red Alert Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Thief II Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II Mafia Fallout (original) Mike Tyson's Punchout! (NES) Super Mario 3 (NES) GoldenEye 007 (N64 - even though shooters usually blow on consoles) Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64 - holy crap can they ever pack a lot of content into 32MB!!!) Duke Nukem 3D Grand Theft Auto (original, not really the second one, III, Vice City, San Andreas. The next one looks to be fantastic) Worms (original and all the rest that kept to the side scroller type of gameplay) Lemmings That's enough for now.
  20. 11.1 in CS:S. If I put it much higher, with the mouse I have, sniping would be impossible because it would chunk so much when I tried to move the crosshair, I'd skip 10 pixels or more at a time even if I moved it the slightest amount!
