If you can point me to where you know that. I cannot find it. But again, its ULX connecting to Sourcebans, updating sourcebans won't fix the problem. Without getting too technical, ULX is Lua based, Sourcebans is SourceMod/MetaMod based. Gmod doesn't support SM or MM which is why you use ULX. In the past to make it work, someone wrote a ULX plugin that would interact with SourceBans like SourceMod does. Like I said, that support ended 2 years ago. It seemed like we were the last ones to have that kind of configuration.

It has to do with ULX no longer supporting Sourcebans and we are not willing to go with 2 separate global ban/admin systems. This pretty much rules out any GMod server being a regular servers. I've said that if we want to do short term event servers like a MTG we could manually configure an admin system for select admins who knows how it works. I've talked to a few old buddies of mine who used to run gmod servers and they said the support for SB went out when SG moved on to CSGO. If I remember right everytime GMod updated the admin would get fucked and take forever to get fixed. So my heart isn't broken.

Hero's Quest is pretty much a simplified version of DnD. Pretty much removes a bunch of the boring parts and kinda straight dungeon crawling. I have a total of 14 quests, each one has been taking us about 90 minutes to 2 hours to do. I've been looking at doing some Pathfinder/DnD, I've been writing my own adventure but that takes time obviously. I have found some premades and would just need to build the table for it. I'm going out of town this weekend so I won't be able to do any until next week. There are quite a few tabletop things I'd like to do as well so as we go I'll put feelers out for people.

We got a game going last night with @Caution, @Leon Mordecai, and @shoiep. Twas interesting. Caution ran in like a marine into hell, got trapped, yelled for help while Shoeip got chased by a few boney guys and Leon and myself failing to hit a few OP guys. By the time we came back to save cautions life, he buggered out and was the only one to escape the dungeon. Jerk.

No, because that messes with post histories and can became confusing if we are looking at something for a ban appeal. Caution put this nicely,but I'll put it bluntly, if your issues are so bad that you cannot resist our website or our servers, seek professional help. Having us ban you or remove/delete your forum access will not help you; in fact it will only continue to hurt you because you are "running away" from your true issue. While I don't want to sound like the asshole here, I'm old enough to be a good chunk of you guy's dad, so I know that having us do that will not make whatever issue you are having go away. You need to talk to someone, either a real parent, a teacher, someone you trust, or in some cases a doctor. We would be doing you a disservice by fulfilling the requests.

I'm thinking if I can get a group of 4 together for Hero Quest and go either tonight or tomorrow evening after work. The first quest should take about an hour or less to do. So if 4 of you can get organized for around Midnight eastern that would be good. Anything with Pathfinder/DnD is gonna take me a bit to write the story up.

I'm thinking for DnD stuff we'd probably do mostly on weekends as it can take a bunch of time to get through an encounter and to a good place to stop. I see that game all over, would need a bit of instruction on how its played. Hehe yeah thats usually what happens. I think I'll be getting more games organized and going on TS cause of the variety of what we can play.

Hey all! Looking for a few people to play some tabletop games with. Please no assholes (@arottenpickle), if you don't wish to play nicely I won't ask you to play with us. Looking to play: No hold 'em poker (8 players I think max) Simplified RPG Game called Hero Quest (4 players), its really simple no RPG experience is really needed, however, I have a pretty lengthy quest book so the same players would keep playing, could do several games, if repeat players I'd have to do some minor modifications to the maps so you won't know where the shit is. Cards Against Humanity isn't too bad. There are several other games I'd be down to playing if others want to. The big thing I want to try is a Pathfinder DnD RPG. I've been writing up my own little adventure and I'll start designing the board for it. I'll probably use the Pathfinder RPG kit as it is Open Source and there are several ways to get the books (I can hook you up). Some RPG knowledge will be key here, but we can set beginners up pretty easily and have them be kind of tag alongs for parts of the adventures. I'd like to use at least 3 regular players and probably could use a pool of part time players. So if several of you are interested hit me up and we can start planning. Tabletop Simulator is on sale ATM at Humble Bundle for $10, its worth the money. So if you don't have it I suggest looking at it. So lets play some tabletop stuff soon!

You are correct however it is the basis of how discord works and shows more vulnerabilities due to it being cloud based. We like to be able to have checks of the security of all our things and with discord we would not have that. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

It's actually posted in several threads in this and the suggestions section. I don't have the ability to find these links. But to be very honest, it is not secure.
