If you purposely rushed them and it fails, It's intent to kill, which is KOSable. However, a CT can let them live if they choose to do so, but I would say that would be a sort of pardon and other CTs don't need to abide to that. I don't think it should be a sort of case-by-case scenario, but that's just me.

I don't see it as pointless. It gives CTs a better chance to stop rebellious activities while, in some cases, keeping track of the Ts. It wouldn't feel right if somebody was purposely attempting to knife you and you couldn't kill them because there was no type of clarification on it. As for your nade situation, just watch out and be wary on where you're throwing it. It was your fault for not being alert of where your nade was going to land.

I mean, the point of JB is to role play as CTs and Ts, or cops and prisoners. Really don't see anything wrong with this...
