Just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone, it was a pleasure being AO and working on the servers. This community and its players have been a big part of my life for the last several years, I will always cherish the memories. Special shoutouts to the Higher Up staff, you all have been amazing and incredible to work along side with and I will miss you all... I hope I get the chance to do this again if I have more time down the road. Thank you.

Event's over. Huge thank you to everyone who could join, was a pleasure playing CSS MG again and hopefully we can do it again sometime down the road. As far as February's MGT event, it will not be a community vote, instead the event will be a surprise (A good one if I might add).

The list Black Rain and I have come up with will only be pertaining to ZE, skins for TTT are completely up to Matt and Pickle. And to reiterate what Black Rain said, you'll have to wait to see which ones will be added ;p

We will be replacing Bhop with Casual. As far as when, we plan on releasing the server in a few weeks.

A countdown timer to the first infection has been added. (Without audio) As far as sound goes, I don't think it's a bad idea and download time shouldn't be an issue, as the files are fairly small. I'll talk it over with BR and post an update.

On the same boat here, adding an advertisement will most likely not change the outcome drastically. If you do see people mic spamming or being racist, give them a friendly reminder of the rules. I feel like that would be more effective instead of adding an advertisement that most people will miss.

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it, the event went well! There are some stuff we need to modify and generally improve the VIP Mod, so hopefully the next time we play VIP, it will go smoother. Thanks again, and Happy New Year!

Come join us on the Zombie Escape server for the first event of 2017, VIP Escape! What is VIP? VIP is a game mode within the Zombie Escape server that was originally introduced by Crazy Swede. The game mode randomly select a player from the Human team to be the VIP of the round. The VIP is very valuable and crucial to the humans, so the objective and goal of the humans will be to protect the said VIP. If the VIP dies, the rounds ends and the Zombies win. In short, a human is selected a VIP at the start of the round, humans must protect the VIP while going through the map, if the VIP dies, zombies win. How do I know who the VIP is? The VIP will be on top of the scoreboard and will have a [VIP] tag in-front of their name. They will also be a pop up in chat that express who the VIP is, as well as a custom player skin/model. The VIP will also only have a secondary weapon. Where? The event will be on the Steam-Gamers Zombie Escape Server. IP: 70.42.74.162:27015 When? While the plugin is much better than the last one we tested, Liam brought up some good points, as this plugin uses the same function as our damage display and voting plugins. So we'd either need to change our display and voting plugin or come up/find a new plugin to better display names, and I'd prefer the latter. While the plugin itself is good, it's conflicting with multiple things we currently have on the server, so I'm going to have to reject this suggestion. Thanks for the recommendation tho!
