I used to have serious lag spikes that were similar to what you're describing. The computer which I primarily use for video-gaming is a Vista, so I use this any time I play/start a game: http://www.mapmodnews.com/article.php/Vista-Anti-Lag-VAL-1.1.1-Wireless-Spikes. It works wonders and I literally have never had a lag spike when the program's on since I installed it. If you don't have Vista, good luck.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that I've returned from my one-week Cross Country camp at/near/around Grand Lake, Colorado. I can add more photos and share some good stories later, but here's a photo of a friend of mine on what my team's nicknamed "Jaguar's Peak", and I am the one on the right with the old-style aviators: We got to that peak within the Rockies after 5 hours/16-17 miles of straight hiking. We stood at 12,700 feet at the top of the peak and climbed a near total of 4000ft in alitutude from the trailhead (the trailhead was approximately at 9000ft ASL).
