  11. That happened to me a long time ago. For me, the wires inside the microphone were tangles and basically wasted. Unrepairable. I got a new mic and it worked fine. So, my suggestion is that your mic's dead and you need to buy a new one

  17. I've had a vista since Apr 07... It's worked fine for me, all I needed to do was reformat my video card a few times. I had an XP before it broke; Vista seems to be just like the XP but with more features that, to some degree, work quite well.
