When I joined the forums back in April, I screwed up and put 14th. My birthday is actually on the 16th. So here I am now, 15 and feeling old :001_rolleyes: (P.S. How can I change it to the 16th?)

--- Sorry for the bump --- Update! She was found :001_rolleyes: According to her interview, no one recognized her until a police officer saw them under a bridge in Iowa, 100+ miles away from their original location. Also, she said "she never meant to run away; she just wanted to comfort her boyfriend after a fight. He was having suicidal thoughts and believed his family wouldn't be there for him, so he relied on her." Oh well, we'll have to see this Sunday when I might see her again :mellow:

Same --- Desktop attached --- I guess it doesn't matter much, but, well, since I have a lesser version of (lesser because I'm not diagnosed with) OCD, :001_tongue: I have a very specific way of organizing my desktop (always have); if it's not the way I'd like it, I'm driven insane till I do fix it: I put my "most often used" icons in the bottom left corner, centered on the bottom, in a corner stacked, (5 on foruth row, 4 on third row, etc.) or in the center of the whole screen itself; basicly completely seperate from the other icons. I also take a screenshot of my desktops every time I change it in case something happens and they get scrambled. And, lastly, I change my background every 2-4 months, depending on my mood. I'm so complicated, aren't I? :blush:

I've been having the same problem except my text is super, super small. Like, in the community tab, if I view , let's say someone's stats for HL2 Ep2, "0.2" Hours goes to (even smaller than) "0.2 Hours." --- This is the response I got from Steam: Their advice never helped, so I've learned to adapt; however, I'd love to have normal-szied text again :blush: By the way, I know there are websites out there that let you download fonts. Anyone know of any that don't have viruses?

There's a 5% discount today on L4D; $45 instead of $50. I'm thinking of prepaying for it because, if I'm going to end up buying it, I want to save a $5. Is it worth it? Should I buy it now or wait and pay the extra $5? Whadda y'all think?

Um... wtf? If this is who I think it is, then I know who they are. They're guys who used to be in my clan before I kicked them and disbanded (the clan). I kicked them for the same reasons that you want to ban them for; they're stupid, spammers, and have nothing to do but harass me or others. FallenMoogla is their leader, fyi. But enough ranting :thumbdown:

everyone that is having problems with Synergy: I have deiscovered that, currently, your best bet on having a fun time is joining a non-VAC server; VAC is still not been "fixed" to cooperate with Synergy according to steam and they're fixing it right now. So, for now, just boot up your Epic-Firewall-of-Doom and go play a Non-Vac server; there shouldn't be much of a problem then except maybe hackers (lagging is dependent on the server's location, of course)

I was having that problem yesterday, too. My only worry is that NON-Vac servers will be hacked or have hackers. But I'll give it go. We should make a channel in vent and see how many people want to play this. If we get enoguh people reasonably interested besides me (and Taylor and Dracula, perhaps?) it'd be a better excuse to beg Haggard for our own SG server with Synergy on it :001_smile:

A little birdy's told me that a handful of mods have officially been released through Steam.
