I fully understand that such a change would be drastic, and there obviously would need to be a good implemented plan so that the older generations are educated with the generation that'd grow up with the change; just look at the implementation and aftermath of the German spelling changes in the 1990s (despite the fact that those changes were less "extreme"). But, really, I must ask: how would it be difficult to learn the phonetic values of each letter and then to simply apply those to your daily life? If one learns which means what and why, then things won't be as difficult—unless people are simply afraid of change as they usually are. Did you even read the blog post?

I've created a blog that I may or may not abandon. I plan to use it as a center for my many idea of reforming English spelling. Same here. Although, I wish either supporters had no color or those "above" had colors as well. I understand that we're trying to simplify things, and it only makes sense then to have supporters also have a white username color. If the only justification for them standing out is because they've paid, what about all the SAs and CAs and AOs from the old system that gave $10 per month? It's just a forum and it won't be the end of the world if supporters have color and others don't, but that's my two cents.

Christ, you all act like Justin Bieber is an abomination to life. He's a young 16-year-old kid who got yanked into the music industry because he, like all of you, wanted to make some money. And guess what? He's doing pretty well and, moreover, better than anyone in this online community. Neither metal nor hip-hop nor pop nor Justin Bieber are dramatically altering your life or, for that matter, affecting it at all considering that they thrive off of your money and nothing else. They're not endorsed or supported by politicians, by nations, by militaries, or by any other force that could threaten your life in any way. If you want to hate on him and his fans because it's a group of people whom you feel uncomfortable with, then ignore them. It's music, folks. He's a 16-year-old kid who few (if any) important figures actually care about. He's a representation of how the music industry offers what people want, and apparently there are young kids who want another pop star. He'll be replaced soon enough if you really have such an irrational and immature hatred of the kid. He doesn't negatively affect you, a nation, the world, or the universe whatsoever, so there's not really any need to get all upset over him or his fans. Seriously, you all need to get over yourselves. If you're this worked up about some teen, then I'm worried for what you all will do when you're out of your parents' houses and paychecks. Get a life.

Exactly what I was going to say. I was just a random until I was banned for accidentally breaking a rule. Super Nublet let my ban go because I was new and because I apparently was the first in a long time to have made an appeal in proper format. Yeah, that's right.
