  1. *hey man its me dominc*

  2. Made a thread some time ago requesting the hyperlink back and I tried lumping in the forum awards together but I knew it probably belonged in a different thread for discussion. I made 3 forum awards (2 are the same just one is animated with sparkles for added effects): 1. 2. 3. Purpose of the award is to reward people who play in the arcade and achieved 1st in any of the games available. Could possibly incentivize people to grind a bit on the forums and add a bit more competition to maintining scores.
  3. Along with some of the points that @Dominic made, implenting a /hide command would make the player complaint process more difficult. Having access to the /hide command would make it so you wouldn't be able to tell some of the context behind orders (like if someone were to run while the order was shiftwalking) and you probably wouldn't be able to tell if someone was breaking rules to begin with making it harder for people reviewing player complaints to assess the entire situation and pass correct judgement.
  4. Only problem I have with a adding an offmic command is the fact that it completely gets rid of an order/rule that the certain Ts would get punished for, for no reason. A CT can order for the Ts to be offmic till 3:30 for example, if they're disobeying. Someone who's already disobeying wouldn't need to follow this rule and the command would group them up and punish them with the addition of the rest of their team.
  5. Was thinking about requesting this a couple days ago for a normal & thirdperson timed contest but I'd be down helping set up the event @Im Sad
  6. old instrumentals
  7. Who are you disagreeing with? Fantastic clearly stated that if needed to, he would watch a video to its full length to get as much context as to why a rulebreaker did what he did. I understand that. that's why in both my posts I've said that a video shouldn't be chopped up, even if it's horrendously long and it drags out to have as much context, but should also have timestamps so the CA's lives become easier throughout the player complaint process.
  8. Sure, context is important I wont disagree with you on that. The addition to timestamps could be seen as a way to look at the most important part of the video. With that said, the context behind the "most important" parts of the videos could be shortly before and after the timestamps that the person who would submit the player complaint would place. If I was in the position of someone making a player complaint, I think it would be worse chopping up a large video and losing potential proof on a rulebreaker. I also don't like when a video drags on like you stated. If not required, a timestamp field would be as effective and one can simply put N/A if the video is short.
  9. It would make CA+ lives easier handling player complaints if there were timestamps required for videos that are unnecessarily long. I see some player complaints span around 5+ minutes and there will probably be around a good 30 seconds of them actually showing proof of someone rulebreaking. It could also make people wait a bit before posting a player complaint as quick as possible so CAs dont have to wait for a vid to finish processing. -- EDIT: Not leaving anything out, but i'm just going to change my opinion slightly. I don't believe it should be required like some have mentioned but having an optional field that would encourage people with long videos to mark it, would be helpful and wouldn't drag the player complaint process all too much Example below:
  10. There was a discussion about this and admins should deal with it the same way they deal with other rules. They ask them to stop (or in this case tell them to change their name) and can be kicked/banned for ignoring admins if they don't wish to cooperate.
  11. With the amount of times people like to spam 1 on votes for maps i don't think i'd let just anyone have access to kick powers. Especially with joke votekicks everyone just likes to vote yes for the troll aspect of it. Of course no doubt it could be used for the right thing but could be extremely abused.
