  4. Little bump. Seems that the Events Team applications were not made available for Regulars to apply. I just fixed the issue so apologies if you've been attempting to apply for a position in the team but had no access to do so. Link for the application form can be found in a post above if you wish to apply for the Events team.
  5. We're in the process of adjusting the Server Administrator rank to form the Administrators and Senior Administrators groups. Don't panic! We're aware of some things that will be missing such as the rank bars and other small details. We'll be fixing them soon.
  6. There's no really recommended experience level. We're open to seeing what type of experience everyone has when they apply for the rank. Rank is still being discussed. We're not prioritizing the new suggestions but we are interested in making them possible teams in the future. The work is entirely voluntary. All of our TAs are at their respective ranks because they want to offer help for free. Every single admin rank in this system is volunteer based.

  8. As you all know, Prez mentioned yesterday that we would be creating applications for the new ranks and making them available to the public. If you're interested in applying for any of the following of the teams, you can find the links below with the job descriptions included: Technical Team: Fix technical issues that arise day to day (servers/site) Research/manage mods, scripts, and plugins to improve our servers Develop solutions to improve our servers/mods performance Discover and fix exploits against our servers/site Assist in data backup operations for the community's data Assist AO's when problems arise or others are on vacation >> APPLY FOR TECHNICAL TEAM HERE Media Team: Manage forum and community website themes and layouts Manage all forum and community images (awards, rankbars, etc) Manage forum design sections (signature/avatar requests, etc) Work with Marketing team to manage branding and community logos/external advertising Work with Game Divisions to keep in-game branding and design (map textures for SG) up to date and relevant Work with Marketing team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc) >> APPLY FOR MEDIA TEAM HERE Marketing Team: Manage all 3rd party sites/applications. Manage all advertising. Recommend upgrades, and general marketing aspects for the community. Research what the community like/not Upkeep the image of SG, and help expand. Work w/ the Design Team to manage branding and community design Work with Design team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc) >> APPLY FOR MARKETING TEAM HERE Events team: Organize, plan, and run events Manage/Promote special events on our servers Manage and monitor gaming tournaments Make sure servers are ready for all special events Schedule events to fill servers in need via the steam community Manage and monitor gaming tournaments (ie.   9. I don't think we intend on making an official app for the forums lol. As Nate S said, there's Tapatalk, which allows you to browse the forums on a mobile-friendly interface. It's not necessarily needed, but if someone that wants to code it in their free time as a fun project, then that would be cool to see.

  13. To the rank of Community Advisor, we'd like to welcome back Vick! He has shown a lot of hard work in the past from his time as an SA to AO. He was unable to help out due to school, but now he's back and we're happy to have him on the team again! His new duties are: Advise the higher staff on important decisions Handling player complaints and issuing bans Moderation of the forum Give awards to members on request Send group invitations to members on request Keep servers clean from rule breakers Issue warnings/kicks/bans Screenshot/demo proof for permanent bans Request permanent bans via on the forum Post in-game server problems on the forum Help in any way to make the servers fun Welcome back, Vick!

  16. No need for such a section. If you're interested in new events, movies, and TV shows then the appropriate place to write those threads are in their own sections. Hype section would be unneeded in the current state of the subsections and the sections we currently use for doing that stuff would most likely be unused if this was a thing. If you wanna post new content then don't hesitate to post a thead about a new season of Game of Thrones or a new trailer for an upcoming movie. That's where most of the discussion gets held at in the first place. Thanks for the suggestion, but gonna go with a no.

  18. @euro likes long names did Deadpool before for a movie night and it was pretty fun but if it's a possible choice from the list and it wins then it will feel so redundant hosting that again. Should do something light and funny like Spiderman: Homecoming or Thor: Ragnarok

  20. I gave pickle a copy of the slayers port when he managed the server but he rejected the idea of keeping it on rotation because it's super big for a ttt map. Also think he said the players found it boring. Pretty sure a copy of it is on fastdl

  24. Normally giveaways are posted in the Deals subsection, but I don't think it would hurt to have a subsection labeled as Giveaways under the Classified section if it really causes that much confusion for newer users. Thoughts, @Prez?
