Nick!'s ban is now permanent and goes across all platforms of the community due to the discovery of recent evidence that he was evading a ban from another account he used to play here on prior to its unban. If you are wondering why flicKz is banned, this is another one of his forum alts that he used to appeal the ban on his original Steam account. We do not advocate using alts to get around bans in any capacity.

I've personally never been a fan of restricting CTs like they have been over the years, but I've come to understand that sometimes it can be necessary. However, it is incredibly unreasonable to disallow players on an entire team from using a map intended feature on the basis of the actions of a few. For obvious reasons, this is going to be rejected. Thanks for the suggestion, nonetheless.

On a serious note, I probably wouldn't live anywhere else in the US other than Texas. If I had to leave the country though, I'd probably move to Australia.

Nick! has been banned off of the forums for a month for shitposting and necroposting yet again after being warned for it previously. There is absolutely no reason to continue this behavior on the forums after being warned not to, especially bumping a thread created in 2008 that also hasn't been posted on since then.

SupremeMeme was banned permanently for spamming racist words in the shoutbox in an attempt to get himself banned. I guess he got what he wanted, but in the end you reap what you sow.

@fantastic We're still looking into this issue. We may have to bother one of the cool dudes in the dark red to see if we can get a fix for some of the issues listed above. I apologize for not making mention of that sooner and thank you all for your patience.

@Manny and I felt that while this version of jb_avalanche does not stray far from the b7 version, it would be worth putting on our server as a replacement for the already existing version. This new version adds a few activities for CTs to order Ts to partake in as well as brings a couple overall improvements in terms of game play and performance. Added.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much for helping me become the staff member and person I am today. I genuinely believe that you are one of the best people I have ever had the privilege of becoming close with; not only in SG, but in my entire life. There were times where I needed someone to pull me away from a rash decision, someone to talk to when I wasn't feeling ok, someone to give me advice when I was unsure; and most of the time that person was you. Even when I had turned the way I did some years ago, I had nothing but admiration and respect for you. You extended me a courtesy that I didn't deserve in a time when I was nothing but an absolutely shitty person, and I will never forget that. The countless hours spent in TeamSpeak channels or on the servers with you are some of the fondest memories I have here. As for what you've contributed to the community, it's easy to say you have left a huge impact on this community and I'm glad you are choosing to stick around. Thanks for it all, Mitch. @Prez

As mentioned by @Tweedledee, there was an active discussion on the matter and the Jailbreak staff made policy based on the feedback of those who took the time to respond. If you still have any discrepancies with the recent change, I encourage you to post on this thread as it would make it easier for the other JB staff and I to be able to round up the collective thoughts and opinions of the community. I'll mark this one appropriately.

We decided to lower the CT health from 110 to 105 as mentioned here. If you have any further feedback on the subject, I strongly encourage that you post it in this thread. We would like to keep everyone's opinion in one place as much as possible. Marking this appropriately.

@DaddyLong To give a more in depth answer, as @fantastic said there was an active discussion (you can find it by clicking here) to change the length of the time a player would have to wait before being able to join the CT. After a considerable amount of feedback from the community, the Jailbreak staff convened to reach a decision. We ultimately felt that only a slight increase in the time was necessary, as we did not want to deter people from playing our server due to a long wait time. While this is not a monumental length, we feel that this is a step in the right direction and down the line may possibly be changed again. Thanks for your suggestion, nonetheless!
