I'm making one last bump on this thread since the poll closes tomorrow and I'd like to get as many opinions on this thread as possible. It doesn't have to be a thesis paper on what motivates people to freekill on Jail Break, but just a simple "I voted for [REDACTED] because [DATA EXPUNGED]" would suffice. Also, please go ahead and list off a time that you think would be an appropriate change if you voted for a time increase/decrease.

late night thoughts got me thinkin bout @DancingMoonLight

The server is now live. For those who haven't joined it/seen it yet, I made a Steam group for the server which you can find by clicking here. The purpose of the group is so announcements can be made to populate the server during times where it can use a boost in players for the duration of the event. Also, I'd like to inform you that I decided to bring on a couple members of our current staff to help out during the event. @Dominic @roux @vinyl @Kodiak @Montag @Ned @Snowy will all be joining me in administrating the server and doing anything necessary to make sure this is a kickass event for all of you. I also want to extend a big thank you for all that they have done to help me get the server up and ready for this event as well. That being said, the server is open for everyone to join and I hope to see y'all on the server! =]

I'm bumping this because we're also at the halfway point before the poll closes. Also, I've noticed that there are a bunch of people who only voted and didn't bother providing anything else. Would any of you care to elaborate a bit as to why you voted the way you did? Like I said, we will take your vote into account but it's really hard to gauge what exactly would be a solution to the problem if there is barely any feedback to go off of. Just wanted to gave an update that the Jail Break staff reached a verdict on this. It was decided that it would be very unfair to make using a mic a requirement to play CT in itself. However, we also came to an agreement that there needed to be change in some form. A new rule was implemented as of 3/17/19 that states: CTs cannot give special orders in text chat, they must be over voice chat. If you would like to see the rule change and more information on it, I will provide what @Dominic posted in the changelog down below. That being said, I will lock this thread and mark it appropriately.

Hello everyone, The notion of extending the amount of time a player has to play on T before they are eligible to play on CT has been a reoccurring idea as of lately. The Jail Break staff overall felt that this is a topic of high priority taking the constant threads/posts being made regarding it into account. We also do believe that considering this is a topic that has been constantly brought up by you, the regulars, that you should be able to have say in this matter and post your opinions freely on the issue. We would take all of your comments and concerns into account and bring it to the attention of the entire server staff and from there we would make policy on it. That being said, we want to know what's on your mind. There have been a various amount of opinions; some people like it how it is, some people want the timer to be increased, some want it to be decreased or removed. Currently, we are sitting at a 25 minute waiting period before a player can join CT. At first, I wanted to refrain from adding a poll as I feel it entices people to vote without giving much thought or reasoning on their vote elsewhere. However, I will go ahead and slap a poll on this thread but I strongly encourage you to post in this thread with your vote and why you voted that way. We will take all input into account, but if it's clear you are just clicking on an option and voting with no other material to provide, we are probably going to look more at those who put in the effort to back up their opinion. I'm also going to tag the server staff so they are aware of the thread and so they can contribute to the open discussion that we're hoping to have in this thread. @DancingMoonLight @Dominic @Manny @Military_king @Takuto The Jail Break team and I are eager to see what you guys have to say and hope to find a good compromise that will promote the well-being of the server, but also be cognizant of the many voices of our wonderful server. Decided it was time for a change, a little somethin' light

The Jail Break staff got together right after our CA meeting and this was one of the topics we brought up. Ultimately, we decided that this is something that would require a lot of work for a problem that we feel can be handled in other ways. This requires editing to be made to the maps themselves and would be a change that would have to be implemented to the ~25ish maps that we currently have on the server. It would be a bit much to ask someone to go about making these edits. Good suggestion though, @TheZZL.

The JB staff overall felt that while we do not want to shut down this suggestion, we also would ask that you extend us the courtesy of giving it some time considering the change isn't even a week old. It is not set in stone and can very easily be subject to change, but we felt that this may be a way of giving CTs a buff of sorts to be able to counter the Ts who have the odds in their favor as of recent.

Considering that Forced Deathgames are still in a trial phase in a sense, so this is currently something that is probably not going to be looked at but we would be willing to call back to this should Forced Deathgames remain a feature of our take on Jail Break. The server staff kind of agreed that we aren't necessarily against this per se, but that with the current circumstances it is out of the question. Good suggestion though @ThRza.

This has been resolved with the addition of a few rules, to name them: CTs who take first order, give your orders. Do not use the time to speak about other topics. CTs cannot give freedays while First Order is active, this includes the person who takes First Order. At this point in time, it would be up to the admins in the server to deal with individuals not following through with these new rules.

We're looking specifically at implementing a plugin to restricting CTs from claiming the first order too many times in a row by adding in a few round buffer so other CTs may take first order. Just wanted to give an update that progress is being made on this, so sit tight.

@Nano I believe this would be in your line of work. On a serious note, this would be a pretty neat way of showing players what they're getting before they choose to subscribe without making them visit multiple different pages. Even just a single thread that is kept up to date by the management/representatives of the respective servers would suffice imo. EDIT: @Montag also had a good idea of perhaps embedding the images of the models into the Subscriptions page so it would be all in one place. It would definitely make it really neat and have everything in one place, good suggestions Anal Booty Cum and PingPong.

I've been rockin with Sennheiser PC 350's for a while and I have no complaints about them at all.
