  6. My schedule is a spirit of chaos, I'm going to do my best to attend, but no promises.
  7. Dream job? Professional gamer, with a popular youtube and/or stream. Nothing is greater then entertaining others with your gameplay and shenanigans. I never got too popular outside the TF2 community when I streamed. It was fun. ...or getting paid to seduce monsters would be pretty alright too...
  8. Yes please, coming from someone who used to make decent gameplay videos, I think many people would enjoy highlights from our servers. Can't wait to see it!

  10. Recently watched a painting puck overstuffed with 8 seamen slowly paddle and paint the side of a ship while in port. Most pucks are only made for 4 people without toppling, but this one was made for 3. They took 20 minutes slowly navigating around the ship with paddles, carefully balancing when one had to stand to paint, until they successfully all flipped the puck over, and all fell in the water. What they didn't know is that the HTs neglected to set up a port line to discharge waste to a proper area away from the pier. So, the entire ships waste was being discharged into the water. Right where the seamen flipped their puck. All 7 seamen came out of the water covered in shit water, cursing and swearing, soaked to the bone. A couple of them puked, and they had to wait until someone with a water hose had to wash them off. They were all okay afterwards, but it has to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Lesson learned: Don't overfill anything with seamen.
  11. I can bend my fingers on both hands to the point of resting flat against my palms. That's about all I can think of.
  12. Congratulations!
  13. I've not seen the greatest results from LR plugins on other servers, usually the plugin has a "REBEL!1!!" option, and it instantly gives the T 300HP, Full Armor, and a Negev. Not sure about you, but unless your hiding a machine gun and armor in your pants, that doesn't do well for roleplaying. But, at the same time, I've seen them work, but on a mostly vanilla server, having a flashy LR plugin could distract from some other gameplay. I.E. Being the last T alive with a group of rebelling T's, then having a menu pop up in the middle of a firefight. It feels like it would be fun with a "new feature" feeling to it at first, but then quickly get old.

  15. 4 MORE YEARS! 4 MORE YEARS! 4 MORE YEARS! This community is something special, I cannot wait to see what the SG year brings!
  16. Understandable, but it's a cheap thrill, it just feels unsatisfying after the first time. However, the last time I did it was years ago on BF1942. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  17. >Spending money on someone elses program just to anonymously "prove" you're a L337 H@x0z Yup, you sure showed me how big your E-PEEN is.

  19. Just came back from jb_prisonbreak_galaxy_v2d, T's that have weapons when the previous round ends keep them through the next round when they spawn in a cell. I arrived in the main cell area for the first time near the beginning of the round, and got greeted with a cloud of M4 rounds. The rifle toting culprit, and every other player on the server are witnesses to this bug. This disarm command works as a temporary fix, but it's a matter of time before someone cries that they lost a handgun they found in their cell to the command.
  20. Prisonbreak. Because everyone starts with a shank.
  21. Click This---> http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=64925 No, spraying down someone with gunfire is not a warning shot, that is shooting to kill. You may want to make a player complaint on the forums, or contact an admin if someone does this repeatedly.
  22. Invisibility has it's downsides, flying sounds good if you have the ability not to crash and die. Flying it is.
  23. Any Pilots?

As long as you don't attempt to join the mile-high club against the yoke, you'll be fine~ I've flown a 172, and they are niiiiice, especially for their payload. They are fantastic for training as well, lots of different safety features, it's a comfy ride in the right conditions. If you can get a cessna for a good price, and verify it's reliability, I'd say that's a decent way to go. Now I'm seriously missing flying again. You can hit books and simulators, but it will make you nervous as hell when you're up in the air, and your instructor gives you control. It's an experience not a lot of people can say they have.
  24. Something came up riiiiiight before I was about to join. Count me out for now, but I'll be back after the event is over for other shenanigans.
  25. Any Pilots?

There are a few different pilot certifications depending on what aircraft you're interested in flying, or how much time flying you are willing to do. What kind of certification/license are you going for? What kind of equipment do you plan on flying? Do you possibly want to make this a career in the future? To get a certification, you're going to need to drop some time into classroom instruction, and instruction in-flight, as well as a medical certificate from a FAA approved doctor. If you're going for military placement in aviation, I'd go talk to your commands career counselor, or the equivalent if you're already in. Google will serve you well for this. I few years ago, I obtained my private pilot certification back home with the help of some far-off family. Unfortunately, you need a BT review every 2 years, and the aircraft I was using to fly is back home. I miss it, but I can't do much about it while in my current situation. Also, you have my respect for being an air traffic controller, that is exceptionally stressful work. Kudos.
