The rule as I recall was always as @Lokibelowkey said, tell Ts to face a landmark, no compass allowed. Since I've been on the servers, folk have started giving those orders, and I honestly don't remember why I hated them before, there isn't really a problem with looking at your compass and figuring it out. Heaven forbid Jailbreak actually taught somebody something constructive ffs. CT: "face east" T: *whispers* "never eat soggy waffles, ok I got it, whew"

all aboard the meme train on round two! Actually though, before we get too immersed in the meme, Classic WoW will be launching anywhere as early as Summer 2019 and as late as Summer 2020. Blizz is promising that it will be earlier, and I think there might actually be some weight in their words. It's gonna be packed full of players moving from retail, many of which will be accustomed to the easier rotations and plentiful in game guides, and will take them forever af to get anywhere. Is anyone else interested in guilding together, maybe even an SG guild?

i'd always thought they were supposed to be like that. if you look at ribbons given to the US military, they often have lines along the sides that are specific to which award they are, and usually don't line up with others, unless they are of the same award, of a different tier.

You’re entirely right, that’s going to be the biggest downfall. What we are looking at specifically is going to be if it’s reasonable to fit every rule, and which small nit picky rules will have to be left out for times sake. It’s something that we want people to watch, not skim, and so pacing is key

it would seem like asking a bit much to tell players they need to spend 15$ to play on our servers. I've heard that getting an account to 21 and attaching a phone number also gets you prime, but is it the same? Either way, we thrive on new players joining, so voluntarily blocking any traffic seems like a poor idea

I think this is ridiculous. The Ts goal should be killing CTs to win the round, never at any point should Ts attempt to kill another. Deathgames are the only exceptions I can see, and even then most of the time the map/CTs kill losers in DGs. Heck, I'd even like the T side be more inclined to help each other during the round, rather than waiting til the end when they can kill each other.

I believe what OP is referring to is that these CTs are taking full advantage of their permissions as CT, to a point that is, admitted, extreme. Our rules allow for some swift deaths, however most people either don't realize that, or are more lenient. No the CTs that are being referenced here are the folk that don't repeat orders that were given over voice during micspam, or don't voice a chat order and warning shot off of it. The same for the "face the back of your cell and freeze" and warning/kill anyone that steps out. Those things that really aren't wrong, but when you do it everyone on T side really wants you to put your head in the ground.

I think that encouraging playtime is a great idea. I'd like to scope the shop to see if we happen to have any holiday-esk items already and then see about trying to give that as a free shop item (or a new item, if the AOs choose to bless us). Perhaps to reduce the amount of rewards that would need to be created, we could drop this down to a weekly reward system given at perhaps 10 hours played, and then the rewards can be bigger and actually feel like an accomplishment. Points, shop items, anything else that would be a fair reward?

This could entirely be wrong, but I was surfing the stats page on my "newer" account and noticed I had frags on both jb_avalanche_b6 AND on jb_avalanche_b7. Upon discovering this, I looked thru the maps on our download page and saw we only had B7 listed, and then I checked the accepted map requests in the past 2 months and did not see any threads related. My question is at this point is: Do we have both maps on the server, or are these some truly old frags?
