  1. Thank you Goku for all the time you've put into this community, JB specifically and even this post. I've enjoyed the times that I've had the chance to play a game with you and am grateful for the times that I've come to you with a question or needing help and you've been open to helping each time. I wish you the best in the personal things that need to be dealt with and hope that everything goes smooth sailing. I also really hope I continue to see you at times in the future. The work you did on JB and elsewhere, including the time put into discussions and decisions is greatly appreciated. As with some other AO+ stepping down, it hits the feels. Thank you and good luck with everything

  14. Broke a finger - miss-caught a ball lmao - was 15 Broke my wrist in two places - during a cup final about 20 minutes from the end, didn't realise it was broken as I could still slightly move it so I kept playing - was 13? Crushed the palm of my hand - N/A - was 15 Split my head open four times - This probably explains why I'm such a *insert word here*. I only remember two of them, I'll probably ask tomorrow about the other two as I was very young. One I simply fell down in the hallway and hit my head on the skirting board. The scar for this is actually evident on my forehead as it's the exact same place as one of the previous ones. These first three are all The worst one was when i was on a speedboat. We were pulling an inflatable raft thing that fit two people along by a rope. I had just had my turn in it and had gotten back into the front-right of the boat. We sped up suddenly and apparently too quickly for the rope (the rope was thick as fuck) and the rope swung around very quickly anti-clockwise. The knot at the end (slightly larger than a tennis ball but smaller than a football) hit me perfectly on the top left of my head. I didn't get knocked out and just kept bleeding from my head, though I did entirely stop all momentum from the rope making me the only one hit. Basically a (according to the others) golf ball sized lump was on my head. There was a doctor on the boat who basically told me afterwards that if she wasn't there then I would have died. Whilst I was conscious (yay) she pushed the lump back into my head. I suppose the only decent thing I can say about that is that I was slightly smaller than everyone else at this time, I guess I was 10-12? So my assumption is that if the rope didn't hit my in the head it would have hit others, potentially going around their necks as I was smaller. Let's call it involuntarily taking one for the team.
  15. We are Steam-Gamers

This is genuinely great, clearly it would have taken a large amount of time and it's just so funny lmao Cheers for making this Post
  16. We always appreciate people that don't spam, so far I believe you've done well there ;) To me, during a three month time span (or longer) it isn't too hard to get 100 posts. With the various few threads created each day and the 'off topic' threads that are less community based such as 'What are you listening to?' I think you can get there easily whilst still posting with legitimate reason. We'd like our admins to be active within the community and actively trying to help better our community as well as the servers themselves. To me this includes discussions, bringing your own opinion to various suggestions, map requests and other topics as well as your own. Then there's of course the few threads where you can pop in a song into the what are you listening to thread, though no posts should really be made with the though 'I'm doing this for the number of posts', they should be with reason because you want to contribute. (the contribute part kinda only applies to some threads xd) I understand if you're someone that reads threads but never feels like there's much to say and so doesn't, I find myself like that sometimes. However I assure you that if you try to actively participate in forum discussions, the post limitations on admin applications will not be an issue at all. Remember, post count is one of the smallest parts of becoming an admin, it is much harder to show your dedication and maturity to other admins and regulars to get the votes to become an admin in the end tl;dr: Goku's post
  17. This has actually been discussed a few times before from what I remember. Here's one from a while back when Dom suggested it: http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=65055&highlight=moderator+rank and a few other similar one's I've seen: http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=70610 http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=69272 Though I wasn't here at the time there used to be a variation to what you just brought up and it really didn't go as well as people may have hoped. Though I respect co-admin isn't what you're suggesting there is a similar concept behind it and the likely answer would be no unless there was truly a different way to approach this than we've seen before. I personally don't like the idea of having this, I can see the benefits that this could potentially bring about but it really doesn't seem too necessary. We have a variation of ranks and the admins should be able to cover the job that you're saying. I get that admins aren't always available, but if someone's been here for three months and wants that kind of power, they may aswell go for admin to be able to assist even further.
  18. Quite like this to be honest. I can't specifically think of any ladders that are over the top secrets that should be KOS. The one on razor for example that this guy was concerned about shouldn't really be KOS imo. It just really doesn't seem to need to be, that's where my stance is on this anyways. For now (unless I remember a ladder that I think should be KOS that I haven't thought of) I agree with the idea of just having them the same as other ladders.

  20. I actually really enjoyed this lmao
