It's hard to explain the feeling when as an admin you kind of just want someone to appeal. It's never usually worth the hassle, but when someone has been so ignorant, broken so many rules and still claims they're in the right you almost want them to appeal just so the rest of the community gets a little share of their words. Mostly hassle tho xd I wonder if others get that feel

I'm in sixth form which is equivalent to college, however in the same place as your secondary school (high school). Taking A-levels in Mathematics, Physics, I.T and Finance. As with most years (though this year most notably) the teachers treat you more and more like adults as you go up the school so that's always positive. I like the increased freedom, free periods, being able to leave school during the day, not taking English, not taking Spanish etc. It's also decent having some new faces around school and the different clothing. However as a whole I really haven't enjoyed myself much yet. It's as I expected really, but I generally don't enjoy school as much as others, nor as much as I used to when I was younger.

Awesome to see an extra life thread! In 2014 I did this with a friend, however we were far from prepared and though we had fun and donated a bit ourselves with friends and family, it was more just a do it for the sake of it type thing. Last year was slightly more planned and ended up with four of us raising 300$, not over the top brilliant but much more than we initially expected! Of course depending on the time and the date, but I'd love to look into this, get involved and help out where I can!

I disagree with this, similar variations have been suggested before and they've all been declined for decent reasons. Of course we wouldn't like the idea of giving people this power without an application process. I see you have suggested trusted players, however as Onion said they really should just be going for admin if they want this kind of power. It just doesn't seem necessary for me and I believe the alternative of them applying for admin would be a much easier process than the risk of this being abused. The only thing I would think about would be allowing HG's to do some kind of variant, but once again I don't actually think it's necessary. I understand how it could help in situations, but I'd say no.

Most of Nick's points are right, but all I can say to that is that it's a shame. Most of the people who commented on this thread are right, it's unlikely that valve will actually take much action at all.

September the 8th I think, could be the 6th though. Starting 6th form (college). Though I get my exam results for me GCSE's (A type of qualification) tomorrow.

By definition 'AFK' = 'Away From Keyboard', thus any action at all on the keyboard would be going against that (including flashlight). Whether or not we go by definition or change it to be suitable for Jailbreak, I have no clue
