  1. As it currently stands, the only way to find server rules is to go into the server section, then click on a server, then click on its rules thread. To some people, that seems pretty obvious, but a player new to the servers probably wouldn't know to go there. Also, there are some universal rules across all the servers, but there's no simple way to see what those rules are. If my memory serves me correctly, I think I remember there being a thread for the universal rules in the AO section. The only way for a regular member or admin to see the universal rules, as far as I can find, is to cross reference the rules between the separate rule threads for each server. As someone who has been on the forums almost every day for over two years, this can still be a little confusing and hard to navigate at times. I can't even imagine how confusing this would be to someone who is new to the forums. What I propose is to have a specific section/thread that is incredibly easy to access, and has all the rules from all the servers. It should also have a list of rules that are present on all servers, just to avoid any confusion. This change would make it much easier to find the rules. I have searched all over the forums for anything like this and I can't find it, so if something of the sort exists that indicates it is really obscure and probably could use a change of location, anyways.
  2. god dammit not greggy. Congrats to everyone else tho
  3. http://www.mediafire.com/file/xudamzpwjr0ntyd/ttt_southpark_csgo.bsp I can make changes if needed.
  4. The ability to use a blue name color on the T team should be restricted because it can be confusing when a T with a blue name is writing in chat. Also, Ts who are actively participating in an lr should have a ring of color, or their skin color changed, so it is easier to tell which ts are in an LR and which aren't.
  5. (Hopefully) Fixed some issues that had arisen due to CS:GO's inability to handle multiplayer maps without an extreme amount of coddling. 8. YEAH IM SPECIAL GIMME BOLD. MY MOM SAYS I DESERVE IT!
  9. There are no rules against the use of voice changers, however, should a voice changer be too annoying or loud it can be classified as mic spamming and against the rules.
  10. Upload said image to imgur then copy and paste the BBcode link
  11. Who are you kidding, leon? Your favorite part is the black line that surrounds the anime girl.
  12. Why the hate?
  13. Try manually downloading whatever files are not working for you. Any AO+ should be able to hit you up with a download.
  14. Razer deathadder. Either chroma or 2013. Definitely the best mice I've ever used, and I've had mine for at least 3 years. There are multiple refurbished sellers, such as Newegg, selling it for cheap but I don't trust those. Reputable sellers like walmart sell it for around 55 and razer themselves sell it for 70
  15. As you probably surmised from the title of this thread, my time to step down has come. I could sit here and write a five page essay about the recent events in my life leading me to make this decision, but I'm sure none of you care enough to hear me complain for that long. If you really are interested, just message me. Depending on who you are might change how much I tell you but I certainly won't turn anyone down. Instead, I'll opt to document my journey through SG in one post, albeit a post that is probably going to be just as long as the issues I'm trying to avoid Anyways, for a long time SG has been like a second family to me. I always knew that no matter what happened anywhere else, I could come to SG and rely on the people here to make to have some fun. I first played SG servers sometime from 2012-2013 in the source mini-games and deathrun servers when I was 12. I somehow racked up nearly 500 hours in SG servers alone when I was 12. I honestly don't remember why I stopped playing source, but when I tried to pick it back up again the servers were nonexistent so I had moved on to CSGO, completely unaware of the fate of these servers. Almost a year and a half ago I was browsing through the CSGO server browser and fate would happen to allow me to see a server labeled "Steam-gamers". Was this the same server I had played on years ago? With my curiosity peaked, I visited the forums and found my old account "Ghost Titanium" It was the same server. From that point forward, at least half of my free time each day was spent in our servers, mostly jailbreak. After a month or two, I made a forums account at the beginning of 2016. I went ham on those player complaints (you're welcome black rain and leon) and became an upstanding member of the community. It probably came as no surprise to anyone when, the day I met the requirements, I applied for admin on the 9th of April, 2016. At the ripe age of 15 I was granted admin and given access to a whole load of command at my disposal for helping to make the servers a better place. I took this privilege of admin, yes it's a privilege, incredibly seriously and dedicated 90% of my time to our servers. It did not take long for the higher ups to notice my dedication and, up until this point, I was a pretty good admin. Because of this, the higher up team decided to give me CA in August of 2016. Soon after receiving CA, school had started and I was no longer a freshman. I had to adjust to taking multiple AP classes which can, at times, take-up a substantial amount of time. I never was completely inactive, but I started playing less and less. To be honest, the mixture of being somewhat bored of playing JB and TTT everyday of every week plus my schoolwork started to demotivate me to play. I became mostly inactive, but always hopped on every other day or so to make sure I didn't fall out of relevancy. After getting the grips of school, I came back to our servers and started playing actively again and participating on the forums when an important thread came up. Not long after, some slots for AO were opened up and in December of 2017 I was promoted to AO. I was available almost 24/7 with the exception of during school and quickly learned the ropes of how to AO. The first month or two went by mostly fine. I did what was expected of me for my server and ported a few maps along the way. Recently, within the last month and a half, my activity has all but vanished. I usually only get on for a specific reason. There's a whole list of reasons as to why this is, but as aforementioned, I'd rather not get into all of that here for it is far too long to explain in detail. MG and 1v1 have all but been neglected recently, which is unfair to its players and also unfair to the AO's who have to put up with my shit and pitch in to cover my slack. Because of this, it is time for me to resign. To each of the people I know on I personal basis, thank you for making my time here some of the best of my life. To everyone else, I'm sorry I couldn't get to know you, but I also thank you for your time you spent with SG. I expect to see this community thriving 10 years down the line. Here's to SG!
