Cts are not allowed to interfere with forced deathgames, if they do they are breaking the rules. This includes your example of cts flashing the ts as they are making the ts unable to see the deathgame, thus affecting the ability for them to play it. Another good example is if the ts are in deathcrate and the cts shoot the detahcrate box into the ts to kill them, and this would be breaking the rules.

Just to finalize this thread up, this is a bug. If you can replicate this bug constantly and record it, the JB team will work to resolve the issue.

@fantastic is right, on revamp/go if you see a t press the press the button to open the armory or press the button to open the vent to teleport to pool, it is kos. This is similar to if you see a t open the iso door secret, you can kos them. With grenades as warning shots, there are certain situations where they can be used correctly, however IMO there are way to many cons to having grenade warning shots as it might set dangerous precedents for newer players.

This is definitely a bug. Im not sure of exactly how long you should have but you are suppose to have way more then 1 second to pick an option. I think i have seen this bug in the past, but it seems like it is pretty rare currently as I have not seen it since. If you are able to repeat this bug we might be able to fix the issue behind the bug and also try to get a recording of it.

I agree with @roux and @delirium that it is very situational where it would be considered "crossfire" or not. Prior to the addition of no block to the servers, cts were able to accurately shoot the rebelling t in a crowd most of the times without the danger of cross firing other ts. However, with the addition of no block, while it has many pros, one of the cons is that there is a large increase in the chance of crossfire due to rebelling ts hiding in their buddies. When we added no block to the servers we suggested cts to use orders like "come out of iso be shoulder to shoulder, freeze, and face iso" for example to unstack the ts in order to isolate the rebelling t. IMO, if you are spraying into a crowd and kill 5 people in order to kill 1 rebelling t, I consider that freekilling. Cts have many varying methods to separate the ts in order to prevent crossfire from occurring, but sometimes these methods are not enough and an innocent t may be killed as a result of a rebeller and thats just how JB is sometimes.

Like ZZL said, if a player is constantly saying/doing things that are making you uncomfortable or ruining the fun of the server for you, you can always warn him to stop and if he continues his actions you can feel free to report said player on the forums. Be sure to include evidence of your warning and the fact that he is continuing said actions despite your warning. I just wanted to add that while all free days are revokable, if the ct is sending you to the same place for more than ~3 rounds in a row it does count as abusing special orders and is against the rules.

I remember the last time that we ran this kind of event, it was god awful. The event was poorly organized, many people were not even able to participate, round timers were not able to be adjusted, and in general the event was chaotic in nature. In addition to this, pretty sure the prizes for the winners of the last knife fight tournament was never given out still. However, (not being toxic) with a more capable management compared to the management that we had on the last knife fight tournament, there is a slight possibility that we could get this type of event more streamlined. If there is a lot of demand for a knife fight tournament maybe the JB team could start working on how to run this type of event.

In my opinion, something like this would definitely not work with Jailbreak in particular. On Jailbreak, Cts have the ability to sometimes get over 40 legitimate kills if they are good enough (like me) during a map. So if we set a ban cap at around 30 kills on unarmed people, it may cause bans to be issued on some of the best cts... I feel that there are way too many potential issues with a system like this for it to be feasible to actually use.

So recently, I have seen this fake news being propagated throughout the server that for something like gun toss, rules can be said after an LR is accepted. This is FALSE. Rules should be said by the ts before an LR is accepted, and if the ct accepts the LR then the CT MUST follow the rules given by the T. The JB team is currently discussing a possible rule for when rules are not said before lrs are accepted and what the precedent should be when that occurs. I just wanted to reiterate that rules need to be said BEFORE and lr is accepted for it to be valid and binding.

^^ The JB team will see if we can possible disable flashbang assists, but as of right now you cannot kill off of a flashbang assist unless it does damage on a ct. Answered and locked.

The jailbreak team currently feels that it is not necessary to add a rule stating that cts are required to repeat their orders if they are asked. Cts should attempt to clarify and aid the ts in comprehending and understanding what orders were given, but this is not required. Rejected.

When I was in 3rd grade, during recess i was playing tag and as i looked behind me i ran full sprint into a bridge in my playground. I got knocked unconscious and when i came to my friend told me i was bleeding all over the place. Had to go to the er room and get 5 staples in my head because the cut was too deep for stitches. Got a permanent scar on me scalp now.

Seen word going round that cts cannot say "back up" or something like that. This is false. In the FAQ, in regards to distance orders it states: Q- Are distance orders allowed? A- CTs can not tell a T to stay a certain measure away (such as "stay 5 feet away"). A CT may ask a T to step back or back away from them." So CTs are allowed to say "back up" or something like that, just not "stay 5 feet away". Just an FYI.
