actually, unlike what everyone believes, nobody gives two shits whenever someone makes a server. there isn't some roundtable discussion. i literally made the server just to spite xeno when he said i couldnt make a server, and because i thought morbus was fun. the only higher ups i even consulted was xeno and spartan and that was only to ask questions while i was making it. literally no other AO+ knew about it until I said i needed people for testing in TS. long story short i do what the fuck i want.

MORBUS SERVER: 66.150.121.120:27015 Here's the morbus server, it replaced the shitty trickz server that like 3 people played, its fun, and for some reason the most popular morbus server in gmod already. Probably because its the only one the actually downloads all the models, and actually works. There are some bugs because the guy who made the mod is a total fucking moron and thought it'd be a good idea to get hotfixes via his website which now no longer exists. Also the silenced pistol isn't silenced, and the blaster and UMP have no reload animations. This is not my fault unlike everything else that I broke in order to try to fix the server, if you have a solution as to why these specific weapons are broken and know of a way to fix them, send me a PM on the forums so I don't accidentally close it. If you find any other bugs, tell me. I literally cut and paste the ULX and ULIB (among other things) from TTT so if you are set up in TTT, you are set up in morbus. SB is not set up yet, and apparently spartan has to do it so go cry to him about it. I may end up asking some people who know anything about making gamemodes for help at some point, I might end up doing some balancing on guns or adding some new things if you guys know how to do that. Other then that, have fun, read the MOTD, PM me for any questions, and complain to the BD's to change the trickz forum section to the Morbus section. pretty sure having a second TTT server with custom content would bring in a lot of new players, this way we get the people who come to the server for vanilla in server one and people who want a customized TTT can go in the other. Just have to make sure we add the right stuff because a lot of the custom stuff is OP as fuck, like that fucking poison dart gun.

almost 90% of the time the only thing that will bottleneck you is the graphics card. also as for overheating and your bluescreening do you look up what error you are getting when it happens? Because it tells you exactly what causes the error so you can pinpoint what is causing the fatal error. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html I used this and found out my graphics card was failing every time I started up a game. also as for everything else, get one of the new 700 series graphics cards, or even the new 280X AMD cards I heard were really good. if game recording is your thing though I would go with nvidia, since they just rolled out a new program called Shadowplay which uses a built in H.264 encoder on the card for recording games. I used it and the quality is amazing, and has almost no impact on FPS. If you really want more RAM I would invest in getting a single 8GB stick so in case you ever want to upgrade to more RAM in the future you can just buy the same stick. TO be honest though 6 GB is fine, the only performance difference you will notice is if you get RAM with speeds that go up to 2133 MHz or high, and most motherboards don't really support that. a 1TB hard drive is fine, if you want a faster boot time or faster loading for specific games, I would suggest getting a small secondary SSD to install the OS on. I plan on installing GTA V on it so the load times aren't as excruciating.
