  3. I've listened to a lot of songs featuring Kilo Kish but I have never actually listened to her own music. She's featured on a lot of music by Vince Staples so if you listen to him you might recognize her. She also has a song with Flatbush Zombies called Jupiter Sounds off their D.R.U.G.S. mixtape and she kills it. About 3 weeks ago Kilo Kish released AMERICAN GURL and it is a pretty great album. She has a really nice and unique voice in my opinion. She sounds spectacular on this album. I love the whole album but DEATH FANTASY and NEW TRICKS: ART, AESTHETICS, AND MONEY are probably my favorite. The production on the entire album is really nice. Tons of nice synthy pop sounds that sound great if you have a really nice pair of headphones or earbuds. She released two singles in 2019 that aren't related to the album but they are also great in their own way and I figured I would discuss them as well. NICE OUT and BITE ME. They both have an electronic sound to them and she kills it. AMERICAN GURL also has some nice electronic tones in it. Another album that I have been loving a lot recently is Where Have All The Flowers Gone by Deb Never? You might recognize her because she was featured in No Halo by BROCKHAMPTON. She is also featured on push by Slowthai which is a great song and she does a great job on it. It's a short album. 8 songs, 25 minutes. I like that but it also leaves me wanting more. I enjoy every single song on this album. It's a pretty depressing album but I have been enjoying depressing music lately so it's right for me. I can't pick a favorite because there are 8 songs and I love them all but.... Sorry and Sweet & Spice are standouts. Sorry kinda sounds like My Way Out by Daine at times and I like that because they're both great songs and the melody is kinda the same. Deb Never also has an EP called House on Wheels and a single that came out recently called Crutches. Those are also very enjoyable to listen to albeit depressing but different strokes for different folks or whatever the saying is. I haven't listened to as much rap as I used to since the New Year. I still listen to a lot but my music taste lately has been pretty much anything I can vibe with. That sounds corny and I thought I'd never write that but I'm really just not in the mood to listen to energetic rap lately. Been listening to a lot of $uicideboy$ as per usual. I don't really understand genres all too well. Like I can't listen to a song and tell you "oh it's cloud rap.. or pop punk.." or whatever. It's rap, pop, punk, etc and I don't know how to tell otherwise which is surprising because I listen to a shit ton of music. I don't really care about it I guess. Here are my top albums for the last 180 days: thank you for reading

  5. i hate the cleveland show so fucking much. its not funny at all. there hasnt been a single moment where ive watched it and have ever thought about laughing. i usually go to sleep with the tv on and comedy central is always on because they'll play southpark pretty much all day and night and i like having it as background noise. when i wake up they're playing the cleveland show so i wake up to this god awful show every fucking morning and its the worst show ever. and to top it off, they cancelled KING OF THE HILL for THE CLEVELAND SHOW. why. family guy is ass too. so is american dad. fuck the family guy extended universe.
  6. tune is $895 because im purchasing a spare ecu from them. if you're sending in your own its around $450. im not doing anymore mods than the ones i mentioned. stage 1 for them is "Stage 1 Calibrations are designed for stock or lightly modified setups. We increase the boost pressure slightly, and make small adjustments to driveability. Perfect for those wanting a bit more power out of their daily driver." heres the website for the tune with more info https://sxthelement.com/ecu-calibration-g1-es/ and heres a link for the tuner https://sxthelement.com/ek1pro/ i just want a little more pep while retaining my warranty. people have done this in the past with no issue. $895 is a lot but the extra ecu is half of it. sxth element is a reputable company. i know a fella who has ran a sxth element tune on his ES. no issues and he's been driving with it for around 20k miles. also i just bought it
  7. hello everyone. i've been debating for a while now on whether to tune my car or not. for a while i was worried because i didnt want to void my warranty but i recently found out i could tune a spare ecu and swap it out for the stock ecu if i ever need to bring it in to the dealership or if i decide to sell it. it's more expensive going the spare ecu route but i get to retain my warranty so that is a plus. ive been thinking about it for a long time but never really felt the wanting to but for the past month i have been legitimately considering it. i initally wanted to purchase an Elantra N but after spending a month or two trying to find one, I give up. its going to take months to get one and i'm not really sure if i want to drop 38k on a car right now. i'd rather put that money towards a condo or something. so instead i'll spend $2000 to make my car more fun than it already is. i have some money saved up for a cancelled trip that i was going to take to the grand canyon so money isn't an issue. its just me pussying out. last night i had a fun 15 mile drive with some random fella in a 2020 sonata sport. i saw him creeping up in my side mirror but didnt think anything. he had some kind of intake because his turbo was whistling which was pretty neat. we played chicken for a bit and then i had to get off at my exit. my transmission is pissing me off more and more. it's a dual clutch transmission and i like it but it is the car's biggest weakpoint. its the first time hyundai really dabbled in dcts. my generation (2017-2018) has a dry dct whereas newer sport/n line models have the wet dct. sometimes it takes a while to downshift, sometimes if im going extra hard i can start smelling the clutch. the clutch is slipping ever so slightly. i'll have to get it serviced soon. part of me wishes i went with the manual version of my car but i enjoy the dct. manual would have been pretty fun though. definitely gonna go the dct route when i get the elantra n just because its so much better than the manual. this brings me onto the topic of also getting a tune for my dct. the company that i purchase parts from came out with a transmission tune recently and it's pretty awesome but its costly and im not sure if i want to spend that much on that. its around $800 with the spare transmission computer. maybe after some time so for the tune itself. i was going to go with a sxth element tune. i have their short ram intake, intercooler resonator delete pipe, and axleback exhaust. big fan of their company and they make amazing products. to support the tune i'm going to have to get some colder HKS sparkplugs and their single catchcan system. i am also going to be upgrading my wastegate solenoid just because why not. ive been wanting to. also going to be doing an intercooler hot pipe upgrade soon. maybe along with it. i'll post some graphs for the tune and pricing and stuff. so the deal with the tune is that it would definitely be a lot cheaper if i send in my ecu and have them tune it but i would be without a car for who knows how long and i wouldnt have a spare stock ecu. theres also the option of purchasing their tuning access software which is similar to a cobb accessport which is common for subarus. its $800 and i have no use for it besides this one thing lol. so im going to purchase the spare ecu option. theres an option for pops and gurgles, pops and bangs, or none. right now my car gurgles quite a bit but its quiet and reserved and it will ever so rarely pop. typically when its cold. i hate those pops and bangs tunes. i think they sound ridiuclous and its obnoxious when youre driving on the highway and some retard flies past you and his exhaust pops right in your ear. or when youre stuck in traffic and some dude with a burble tune on his bmw is popping at 2 mph. it also fucks up your fuel economy. im going to be going with the pops and gurgles option since its more tame. im going to be going with a stage 1 tune. i think i might be good for stage 2 but i dont want all that. i just want some more power and freedom. so with the tune i would be getting better throttle response, increased boost pressure, and more torque and horsepower. heres a graph of the changes is this a smart idea? probably not and thats why my gut has been giving me mixed feelings but i think after last night and the fun i had i remembered how fun it is to drive my car. ive been going out for drives more and more. its one of the only things that makes me happy nowadays. now that its getting warmer the seasonal depression stays but i get to drive around with the windows down hearing my turbo spooling and the exhaust echoing off of walls. so it makes me happy. and i think i'll go through with the tune. i've also looked into purchasing a fun project car but with recent car prices and the fact that everyone in new jersey is a crackhead when it comes to selling cars, im passing. i was interested in purchasing a mazda rx8 roller with no engine. it was prepped for a ls3 swap. after doing the math i realized it would cost me upwards of $15k and i would rather use that money elsewhere lol. ive also been trying to find decently priced miatas for the past couple of years but nothing. ir emember when i was younger and i'd peruse craigslist for miatas and i would see them for $3000. it sucks because now i have money and i cant go out and buy a miata for $3000. that same miata would be sold for $11,000 by some idiot. every now and then i like to go on craigslist and fuck with people who do that. here is a price breakdown: Item Price Tune $895 Single Catch Can Kit $249 Wastegate Solenoid Upgrade $175 HKS M45XL Spark Plugs $135 Intercooler Hot Pipe Upgrade $199 Total: $1,653 After taxes and shipping and all that jazz it'll probably be around $1,800. Not bad. I'm going to be changing my brakes this May. Going to respray the calipers the silver color they were. the salt kinda chewed up the paint. might just get some nice looking rotors. eventually im going to get a nice set of wheels but i havent been able to decide. theres a lot that i like but theyre pretty pricey. new wheels plus tires will run me atleast $2,000. also looking into possibly buying lowering springs but thats like a 25% chance. i like the height of my car right now and lowering it an inch all around will probably really suck around here with all the potholes and the driveways i have to go into and whatnot. i think i'll leave it alone. thoughts?

  10. i am bored and all i got is music so im going to try and make a weekly curated playlist of what i've been listening to or what i've been obsessed with, or whatever feels like it would mix well together. gonna try to do it every week. i was gonna do it for myself but i figured i would share it with whoever cares. 50 tracks. maybe once a week. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5CJmyS7Ij03fiO5dMnQwF3?si=31496cc7575a4a3e

  14. hello dylan. thank you for the informative post. i enjoyed reading it and it reminded me a lot about myself. i love teamspeak, hell, i still have it pinned to my taskbar. i frequently open it by accident and i get pissed but i dont remove it because well, it just makes sense for it to be there. its natural. teamspeak felt more natural. it had character, it felt homely. i used to come home from school and boot up teamspeak and play with you and our other friends. but i think you are incorrect in thinking that discord is what caused the downfall of this community. i wouldnt even say downfall because the community is flourishing... as a community. just not as servers. i dont see that as an issue imo. i've always thought we should build up a nice community which we have because our forums and discord are popping. whats the old mentality? if we build they will come? well that isnt true because we've built a lot and no one has cum but hey we tried things and the fact that we tried was enough. we have a lot of talented people who have dedicated a lot of time and effort and im grateful for them because they are doing it out of the kindess of their heart. nothing sounds better than the teamspeak female voice going "Connected" except for her... i miss her voice. i havent heard it in months. i would do anything just to hear her laugh. If you were weird you probably used the male Teamspeak voice which IO never understood because that dude sounded creepy as fuck. I was a lifelong teamspeak female voice user. Anyways, Teamspeak felt more homely, it felt more like a community IMO. i was a strong proponent for keeping teamspeak instead of discord but i continued to use discord because i knew the change was inevitable. i was BD at the time of the change. as much as i wanted to stay on teamspeak, it just made sense to switch to discord. more and mroe people use it. if you told people you were on teamspeak in a game they would ma ke fun of you. ive been made fun of so many times for saying "yeah join our teamspeak" with discord you can make it a hub for other discords and for the community. you have separate text channels that stay permanent. its cool really. more people are open to using discord because the chances of them having it installed for something completely different is very high as opposed to teamspeak. damn i miss teamspeak. not as much as i miss her. but i remain weak and foolish. i know teamspeak isnt gonna come back (like her) but i hope it does (like her). one can do nothing but hope and pray. realistcally teamspeak will not come back just because discord has been doing well and its pretty good right now except for the secret police and gestapo. some people like creten can dox people and get away with it but i make one silly little joke and get warned to not do it again. it just aint fair. i started watching bojack horseman like two weeks ago. i love the show a lot. last night i got really high and slept at around 3 am while watching the show on my phone. i guess i just knocked out or something because i woke up like a couple hours later and heard soft and quiet talking and was confused as fuck. felt something extremely hot on my chest and it was my phone smothered by my blankets because it continued to play bojack horseman since i just passed out. it played up to like season 3. whatever. im also rewatching community. community is a good show. in a way i can relate to bojack in some ways but i cant most of the ways because hes an awful person. i wouldnt like to think of myself as an awful person but i know i have been awful in the past and i cant help but feel like im a dick a lot of the time. im a good guy, i'd like to think. i think ive done good. but ive also done a lot of bad. like not stopping the discord takeover
  15. Absolutely nothing. I have been doing absolutely nothing for the past fewish months.. maybe even a year. I'll go into swings of playing games I like or a new temporary hobby and then I burn myself out because I finally found something to do... But I'm gonna do it so much I tire myself out. There was a period of time a couple years ago where I was on my computer everyday but didn't launch a game on steam for around 4 months. I'm just bored of everything. Can't find any enjoyment in anything. I've been experimenting with making music in FL Studio and that's about it. I'd bet that most regulars are also probably just bored of the servers and moved on else where. I doubt school is an issue for 90% of the playerbase because some of the former/current players would spend all day on the servers. Maybe they were just neglecting school but whatever. Player bases also grow out of things. I grew out of playing TTT a couple years ago and I used to no life gmod ttt everyday like some people do CSGO TTT. It's probably been a good 5 or 6 years since I've had a legit good time in GMOD TTT. Shit just gets tiring. Everything is tiring. I don't want to do anything anymore. Aimlessly spending my money hoping to find enjoyment in something. I've recently become a Google Shareholder which is awesome because Google sends you a personal assistant that gives you top on command and you are invited to shareholder meetings. That's all.
