  1. I usually use 3: - Visual Studio for C#, C++ // This is just what I was taught to use for these - VScode for Python, JS, TS, HTML/CSS // Lots of easy extensions, and it's super easy to use imo - VIM for C, config files // This is just a personal preference thing
  2. Super Bowl LVII

  3. he doesnt know nah but fair enough, I say we all in on a HL2RP server when s&box "comes out"
  4. Removal opinions: Retakes- Sure, most of the time the players on those servers are already SG members and now with potential(?) renewed interest in scrim it might not be too big of a hit. Bhop- Obviously I'm gonna be wayyy biased here but I think bhop is still valuable to keep, even if you downsize it. I myself still play bhop sometimes and it's a gamemode that still has a niche, unique market that actually sees a decent amount of non-current SG members on. Suggestions: Gmod Half Life RP- it's a super fun gamemode with a fairly large market of players with a non-super saturated market of servers.
  5. I was told my payment was banging Dominic's mom? I want a refund.
  6. even as an eagles fan, if the 49s stay hot they can easily take it all the way. buffalo also has a huge morale boost rn
  7. Wrong phoenix, but solid memes. @Ph3onixis the ZE player from Israel, I am a different phoenix, @diryathing @ValkSince the game is technically not going to happen, @Kieran and I will be accepting joint custody over this year's title. Awful circumstances to win off a technicality. But, overall fun year of fantasy.
  8. Forums looking clean asf. Good job yall.
  9. I guess I will voice a few thoughts here then: If I'm being honest, I'm not sure how many of us will heed the call of action. I know I'll likely be willing to in certain circumstances if there's a topic that interests me or a game I would enjoy hopping on (ex: GMOD TTT, maybe GTAV) but that's just because I'm someone who lurks around the internet in my free time and don't have many obligations for the time being. Of the 130 people with Legend rank, many of us have well and truly "retired" per se: we've moved on, gotten jobs, started families, etc. I think this only holds truer for the old generation of LGs with join dates from the 00s to early 2010s, they all likely are growing in their respective careers, starting families, settling down, etc. and don't really consciously think of Steam-Gamers anymore. As far as my generation of people go, we're all finishing up college and starting careers, so I don't forsee many of us coming back either. On top of that, many of us have logged several thousand hours on CS:GO and simply don't feel the same about the game how we used to and almost have sort of a permenant burnout from the game. I'm unsure of how many people you excepted to draw from the call of action, I guess I just wanted to speak on behalf of the people who won't come back and the people who also share my pessimistic outlook, as I have always been one to be honest and open about my thoughts even when they aren't the greatest in terms of spreading cheer. Call me a doomer (I am), but that doesn't mean I don't think you lot in charge aren't taking good steps to get this place on the best track moving forward. Keeping things simple and trying to revisit stuff that got this community going strong in the past is absolutely something that sounds like a good step to take. I am excited for the future and hope positive strides are made to get this place hopping with some people again. I'm absolutely down to attend admin meetings and help how I can but that's also the reason I have stepped down 87 times since I would usually call it quits when I felt there was nothing meaningful for me to contribute to this place in the positions I held.
  10. GTA V Sumo

I would absolutely join this event but I will not be home when the event happens. +1 @Creten different date yo
  11. congrats thursday

  13. 1) Adolf Hitler was never born. Just think it would be interesting how the last 80 years would have changed if this man had never been born. 2) The US never initated the war on terror.
  14. Personally my favorite is python just because it's very versatile and I like a lot of the tools in libraries provided by python already. I'm probably best at JavaScript/TypeScript just because I have coded most of my schoolwork in it over the last 12 months.
  15. Weed V2

In terms of drugs, weed is among the safer if you choose to do that in life. I won't encourage the use to anyone, but if you have a doctor perscribe it to you for a medical reason, then all the reason to do it. I've used weed on and off since probably age 17 (I am 21 now)? Nowadays I usually just stick with 10-15mg edibles some nights. If you choose to use recreationally please be safe, know who you're buying from, and don't use it to cope with your problems. That's how you develop a dependency. As @jazzytouched on as well, a lot of people do and are tempted to crossfade. I heavily, heavily reccomend against it as anytime I've done it it feels good for about 30 minutes and then you feel like shit. Don't mix your subtances, and obligatory don't do it if you'll get in a legal trouble doing it.
  16. Yes. All the current Directors are capable of doing great work and have proven their reliability and competence, and that's why they are in the role they are. I'm going to share this and hope I don't get in trouble for it since I'm not really leaking anything confidential... but in the aforementioned CA+ discussion that included this type of material : There really isn't a huge functional difference between Director and Vice President. They still have the same duties as any other Director, with the added responsiblity of making sure everyone is doing their shit. From what I understood from the disucssion, the main purposes of VP are to hold all the other Directors accountable for their work, and to take the lead for the community in the case of extended absence by the President. With that being said, this means this role requires a huge amount of trust and it just happens that Gator is the most trusted for the reasons of (I'm guessing) he has simply been around the longest, and has been reliable when called upon. On top of this, I feel like if people voted on the VP, the role would become more ceremonial than anything, and lose a bit of it's value. I feel like it may open the door for pettiness and infighting, though I have faith that none of the current board would resort to that. I just don't feel like this change would really be necessary or beneficial. I understand your want for more community impact on the future of the community, but I really do think there are better ways to do that.
  17. While I can understand your thoughts, I don't think it would be a fantastic idea to do this, because much like the admin contest, it would just be another popularity contest. Funnily enough, there is a discussion in the CA world that has brought up this topic very recently, and it was explained the status of the role of VP, and what Gator has been doing. Unless the board deems it necessary, I see no reason to shift up the role of Vice President at this second. I feel like public voting would be better used for other subjects, but that's beyond the scope of this thread.
  18. Personally wouldn't get a tattoo like that on myself. I have been thinking about getting some kanji on my forearm and a couple various tats on my shoulders and chest. Based on the photo and the lighting I can't 100% tell where the tattoo is? It looks like an inner thigh tattoo which just kind of feels like a weird place for that tattoo but your body dude.
  19. quarterly listen of yhandi and getting sad over the fact use this gospel was released over law of attraction
