Since PingPong and Wicked Pissah are already admins, you can choose to give your supporter to someone of your choice if you wish. (Don't have too though) You can choose to keep the credits you won or give them to someone else and a free item from the store. I'll go ahead and set you up Nay and same thing with the credits.

If you're higher than a sup and win, it is as I said optional to give it to someone else. You could give the supporter away but keep the creds. You could not give anyone supporter and keep the creds. Up to you.

Lol reading over Matt's thread for free supporter made me feel generous. So here is what I'm gona do. 3 winners, 1st, 2nd and 3rd. All you need to do is post in this thread saying you want to enter. Here's what you win: 1st - Free supporter, 50000 credits, one free item from the store of your choice. If you're already supporter and win, you may give it to someone else and optionally you can also give your creds + item. Only one person though, don't split it... 2nd - Free supporter, 25000 credits. Let me put this straight. The servers: crackhouse, hide n' seek, scrim and all the tf2 servers were on a dedi that was owned by Guy. When he lost his job there, we lost the dedi. Those servers are not in our control and I have no idea why the hoster hasn't just switched that dedi off, or atleast wiped it clean. Either way those servers aren't there to be messed with. The servers: Reg, showcase, perp, zriot and a test server are also no longer available due to Amit not paying for the dedi. So, with both servers being unavailable, which server are we replacing for zriot?

Congratulations to Nishok, Caution and MPQC on being promotoed to Administrative Officer! I'm sure deathrun will have a million maps now, SG will be run like a crack factory and we will all get free diamonds. (Hopefully you'll understand these references ) Beth has also sadly decided to step down due to lack of time, but I'm sure she'll be around still. Also as a side note, anyone wondering about admin applications will need to wait for a bit first. There's some other shit that needs sorted before I set my mind to admin apps. Just keep patient padawans. Thanks all.

Zombie Hell does take up a lot of resources. Each bot continuously piled up mem usage over time causing a strain on the dedi. This is why it was taken down last time, and the time before that... Bhop - No way. Even if this was a new server it will have 0 players, or atleast very few. Trikz does well enough. Napalm - The countless times this has been wanted, and then nobody plays it. "Aw yeah I'll play it!!" No, you won't. If anything though another zombie mod is probably a good idea for someone to dedicate time to popularizing. Scoutknivez - Can't really put any criticism into it. Nobody will probably go crazy wanting to play it. Another zombie escape - Would this really work? Our current gets 40 players but then you're just gona be stealing that population to fill the other. This pretty much goes for any mod imo. If you hold 2 servers with the same mod, they're always gona be competing for players. I've seen this through SG's history. Escape - Lil escape, Minigames - 2nd minigames, Prison break (Mutiny) - Prison Break (Uprising). We only have one of each now. As for reg, there's not much you can do customization wise. People always love massive reg servers, but finding the players is the difficult part. If I forgot anything then sorry, it's late so I'm just going by memory of what I read threw the pages.

Concerning the servers: Rally Race, Reg, Crackhouse and hide n' seek, these servers are all pretty much dead 24/7. (I'll ignore tf2 for now) I think it's fair to say Rally Race is just too laggy, hide n' seek is too much of a fad gamemode, and crackhouse's original supporters have dissipated and flocked to perp3, and then eventually elsewhere. I'm planning on getting rid of all 3 of these servers in replacement, one at a time, for something else. If history teaches me anything it's at SG, bringing out fad servers all at the same time never works out well in the long run. Now, you may be wondering why I left out reg. This is the only server I actually want SG to have and have a self sustaining population for. Countless times though, has a reg server come up and then faded to dust. As far as making events go, and spamming in chatbox the i.p and telling people to join, it only brings limited success. It's clear we need a new approach to getting SG involved with not just mods, but of competitive CSS. This does not mean I want SG to become a clan and start going trigger happy with competitions. We will on the whole, always be a mod community. So, I'm considering some options myself, but what we're gona need is something to attract members to a reg server. There's only a handful of very popular reg servers, and thousands of empty ones. I would like some suggestions from everyone on what we could possibly do to make the server a success. I understand it may take a while as well. And for the love of god, suggesting to spam events for it will not work -_-. You may also be thinking what's going to replace the other 3 servers listed here. Well, that's also up to you. Just remember, fad gamemodes will most likely die out. Something that perhaps we're all interested to play on, and that will attract members. Thanks you.

Well it's taken a while to get this implemented but I finally got it up. There is now a ladder/league/tournament link up at the top of the forum called 'tourneys' for you to join. The first tournament at the moment is a League of Legends one, simply because it's a nice relaxed first tournament for me to see how it all works, and since there are quite a lot of sg members who like it. There is also a ladder linked to the LoL tournament which monitors elo, xp, wins, etc. It's not necessary but it's nice to add. The league is more of a test thing at the moment, but you can join if you like. Later on in time, I will add an SGSL tournament and stuff. All of these will win you real prizes btw. I will decide this later on though. Anyway you may be wondering how it all works, so I'll explain some of it. First thing the link you want to click is shown at the top of the forums, also shown here: Once that is clicked, you should see this: Some of the options at the side won't be seen by you, as there are some specific admin options on there. Anyway first thing you wanna do is join the League of Legends ladder first, as this is already started. Once joined, you will then wanna join the League of Legends 1v1 tournament, and that will start once the 32 slots have been filled. The League of Legends ladder is also linked to the tournament, so when you win the tournament, 50 elo will be added to you. I will also manually add 10 elo for each win u get, but you will get 0 for a loss. You can post comments on the tournament to say the score perhaps. Either way you will need to let a higher up know so it can edited. Shown here is where you can comment: That's pretty much all you need to know. You can join the league too if you like. Some other things, you can create a team by selecting the "New Team" at the side, add a logo, invite members etc. The leader of a team are the only people who can join a team tournament though. So, you may be wondering also though, what is League of Legends? How do I play it? Where can I download it? Here's a bit of a guide for that too. League of Legends is a great FREE game that simply needs an account to play. If you are new then you will be at a disadvantage for the tournament but you can still play. You can download the game here: League of Legends - Free Online Game | LoL - League of Legends You may have noticed that there is also a Europe version. Make sure you DO NOT download this version. You cannot play with NA people on the EU client. What League of Legends is, is fairly simple. The aim of either the 3 v 3 or 5 v 5 is to destory towers, push onwards to the enemies base, destroy inhibitors and finally to win, destroy their nexus. You along the way kill the enemy champions, earn gold from several things, buy items to increase your stats and level up to level 18. Ofcourse, the enemy is trying to do the same to you. Your summoner (you) can level up to 30 for winning/losing games. You get exp. In one LoL game, you champion can level up to 18, and all champions will have 4 skills bound to Q, W, E AND R. Additionally you have 2 spells bound to D and F, and later on rune pages and extra masteries. It is advisable to play the tutorial first before starting a normal game. You can also hop onto vent and play with some lvl 30s to get yourself up to speed on how to play and also the details of how this tournament works. Anything else to say would be over complicating it.
