  1. As if there was even a point before-hand. Literally just a way to trick gullible kids to place value on shit that has none, and create a "market". Someone should write a fucking book about this phenomenon in gaming, because it's honestly astonishing. The biggest fucking scam in the history in gaming, and everyone fell for it. I personally have been waiting for the market to die or for them to make a new game so it would- I'm so happy that maybe the gaming community will start treating this shit like it should be treated. Just because there isn't a lot of something doesn't make it have value, rare doesn't mean value. If I take a shit in a red-solo cup and sell it it's one of a kind but it is also pretty fucking worthless.
  2. Not a lot to speculate about with such a small trailer and no leaks, I doubt they have even 2% of the game actually finished or even fully fleshed-out. I've seen some reddit posts narrowing down the location of the game, but even then it's really possible that they're all wrong and the location showcased is simply new. The whole announcement of Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6 was just a "Hey, we know you guys are really wanting these games and we want you to know that they're on their way". They're both 2-3 years out at the very least, which is an absolutely insane amount of time. With that being said Todd Howard has said many times that Starfield, Fallout 76, and Elderscrolls (didn't mention them by name, but based on release time and IP) are supposed to be the most out-there, massive undertakings they've ever done so I would be surprised if each didn't build a bit off the others. The new Elder-scrolls is going to likely be nuts, and will probably be one of the first Bethesda games ever where they don't sacrifice things for the sake of part A, B, C of the game being better. I think it'll mirror Skyrim except it'll build on it's shortcomings and take what they've learned in their other games since it. Things like shitty dialogue that doesn't change, the different stories not affecting each other by much, some of the combat is just boring IMO, the companions were just very plain-ish (something they've worked on in Fallout 4), as much as they worked on making the caves more dynamic they felt really repetitive for me. I think the other thing they should really rehaul is the dogshit spell/leveling system, I hated navigating that shit so much and I hope they make something a bit more innovative but friendly. From Fallout 76 being full-on multiplayer and many Skyrim coop/multiplayer mods over the past couple years I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the game will be able to at the very least be coop. In terms of pure excitement I think Fallout 76 can actually become an amazing game, if not the best game released from Bethesda-ever. If they really make use of the beta to make meaningful changes I think it could completely rewrite the survival genre by showing that if you implement the right game mechanics and restrictions it can make the survival genre a lot closer to RPG-type games. Going to make my own mega-post in the Fallout 76 thread for it and try to reflect on a lot of shit relating to that aswell as some speculation.
  3. Fallout 76 trailer released at Microsoft conference (ty for noting it, @shoiep), actually gonna bust a nut over this conference in 2 hours. They're teasing shit so hard, JUST TELL US WHAT IT IS.
  4. Survival Fallout is going to be great, frick you.
  5. EA's conference a complete fucking joke besides the nice German Lady who looks like she has a lot of passion for her game. Other than that really just the classic EA dogshit and the unsurprising SJW Bioware dogshit game narrated by a braindead Vision from the Avengers with awful dialogue. Waiting for Bethesda's conference tomorrow with dick in hand, only thing that matters to me- everything else likely to be the continuous flow of mainstream garbage with a few decent titles from Indie-type developers.
  6. You a real one slothy, years ahead of your time.
  7. RIP

  8. Besides the "huehuehue, nice misspell", you're on a forum full of people who play video games- do you really have to ask?
  9. I still have an issue with it and wait for it.. I agree with @Gumline. Just because he wants to remove it on the basis that it's making CT harder doesn't mean that he wants to remove warning shots, it just means he thinks the LR rule itself is unhealthy and tips the scale too far. I've always thought CT-side on our server is literally a get fucked in the ass simulation for CTs similar to the people who queue up bot games in games like League of Legends to stroke their dicks, that's how unbalanced I've always seen it. I think the fact that the players still manage to make CT's win 20% of the time is incredible given our ruleset/maps. It always felt winning on CT side comes at the cost of people becoming incredibly frustrated and sometimes just flat out ruining the Prisoners fun by placing overly strict rules, micspamming over fellow guards, or just flatout breaking the server rules to win. The fact that you guys would add something that even marginally makes it more difficult for CTs and is somewhat confusing really tells me you didn't think it through fully and are grasping for some kind of reason to keep it. Playing CT on SG has always been annoying as fuck, and that's why you see multiple times a day despite the server having no requirement or anything 20 people stacking T side while the CTs are getting completely railed. I haven't said this yet but all of the reasons above are why CT on our server has always attracted a special kind of fuckface. If I was someone playing CT, played a full round and popping off I don't want to be rewarded by getting undercut by some rule like that- it's literally just not practical anyway you look at it.
  10. This map is OG as fuck, besides the cells taking 45 seconds to open automatically this updated version actually has some great secrets on it and I've seen this played fully plenty of times. Play it more than once before you start asking for it to be straight-up removed lol.
  11. Just to throw some info out there. I think it's just going to make pG even bigger as they're merging with eGO. It's entirely possible for the first small while the little kiddies trickle out to us because they're asshurt about the merger, but honestly with both of those communities combined I can see it actually getting more popular than before. As far as I've read their rules are staying exactly the same, the old pG owners/managers are getting slightly lower ranks at eGO among other small bullshit. I don't know the dynamic of the two communities much at all though, their JB server is still rocking almost top 10 status and it's been 2 weeks since they announced it- could be a last hurrah, could just be people actually accepting change for once. eGO is still grasping to vBulletin like us so I wonder if that'll make any difference to people moving over, looks like it should be interesting for SG eitherway.
  12. This is what this thread was made for.
  13. Moonlight, understanding how the servers work? LOL.
  14. Supreme Drop

I'd rather look like some basic dumb motherfucker wearing normie-shit clothes with $200 more to spend on my steady diet of nuggies and fries.
  15. Forcing people to play maps that don't synchronize with the server itself is genuinely a bad idea, those 10 maps are played for a reason.
  16. Our server is a bit different then others in the terms that rebelling can be many different things other than doing damage and we don't have many of the automated systems that coincide with no-collide plugins. JB servers tend to combine nocollide with some big plugin that has a guard system, LR system, etc.. I personally think it adds a lot to gameplay in terms of stacking, but I can see why the blocking thing would make people want player collision turned off. I enjoy it cause it honestly makes rebelling easier but it also makes giving orders as CT's a bit of a clusterfuck sometimes when people block, and it can be even worse when specific T's can't leave an area due to blocking. I think that unless we made a lot of other changes that would probably be bad in my opinion we shouldn't do this. I'd be far more interested in seeing some kinda "day" system added to the server as was suggested awhile ago, with the right configurations it's something that could make the melodramatic, stressful bullshit that goes on get drowned out by some silly fun shit.
  17. I like the banner and thread format, good job EDIT: fook u @euro good job @floffypus
  18. You realize this is how Calladmin worked and it did not function properly whatsoever, right? Just cause you punish someone for something doesn't mean people aren't going to do it, some are going to be more likely to do it instead of less. How are random people going to know to be discouraged from doing this based on one subtle ban? SG like many other communities has people who know the rules extremely well but knowingly break and skirt them literally on a more than weekly basis and others who don't even look at the forums- so even if it was decided to make some announcement post (as was done with Calladmin) the effect probably would likely be negligible.
  19. I used to hang around and grief the fuck out of servers with a pretty large group of guys, and let me tell you any kind of vote function on the end of player enforcement is a bad idea unless you add dozens of restrictions which really make the "effectiveness" of it void. When I was staff or even when I was a player there was constant almost daily instances where one person would say something and literally the entire server would bandwagon it on servers like JB and TTT. Even looking at servers like ZE where large groups of people are constantly fucking arguing and shittalking eachother I could see room for error. The purpose of an idea like this is to create less oversight, more player-sided enforcement of rules which falls apart when you need more oversight to make sure people aren't abusing it. Someone who is breaking the rules could just as easily be banned through player complaint or calling an admin online with there being very few scenarios where both would fail, I'm however not saying it's a perfect system. Ironically player complaints would be same avenue that would be used to stop possible abuse of a voteban which may even not get reported or caught in time. Taking a partially unreliable, under-used system and making it the catalyst to enforce abuse by something that is meant to make things easier is in my opinion, counter-logic. This system would work exactly the same as Calladmin in terms of oversight, which is exactly why it is not a good idea. Most suggestions like this that mean to automate or add structure to some part of missing administration are not as much a solution as they are a symptom of the problem.
  20. to help griefers, micspammers, and general rule breakers ruin everyone else's fun*
  21. This doesn't entirely solve the problem, at a certain point saying that can be considered an unreasonable request and still leaves for room for miscommunication as was originally stated in the OP.
  22. You have to play on T side for an hour before it expires, did you do that?
  23. @Greggy G and I didn't win, this shit's rigged as fuck.
  24. Super weird that people have to make threads asking about stuff like this when there is literally a module made, used by admins to track CT bans similar to SourceBans lol... It's not even like it's private either cause everyone can access it, it is just not really publicly showcased anywhere I can see. Something I came to notice aswell is that ALL OF THE BANS are EXPIRED, which either means we have some super dedicated players getting banned or that the module is tracking elapsed time and not playtime.
