I understand planting at a different spot, I don't agree switching sites though- it's incredibly cheesy and almost an exploit. Fine with not adding it for that reason in mind, but I'd like to test it as the description the guy gave was fairly vague.

Have seen these 2 plugins (in some regard) on other servers, worth adding them to spice up the server and make things a bit more fast paced. I think our retakes server can be doing much better than it is currently and these small little things mean a lot to some players. We obviously can't add things like !ws or !knife, but these are things that would make our server more desirable/fun. I will be trying to populate retakes a bit over the next few days to maybe get it's population more or less kickstarted. The first one instantly defuses the bomb given the T side is dead. The second one automatically plants the bomb on roundstart.

Realistically trying to equate the two is a false equivalency. Someone has to follow you in order to "claim the room", and the only person who you could in theory kill is that single person. If it turns out that person wasn't following you and they wander into that room later on it's not correct to kill them. For example when people are running down a linear corridor in a map, I'm running in the same direction, if they ask me to stop following me I normally tell them to get fucked and if they try to kill me I just gun them down. Another difference is that when you are warned for following someone it is very hard to miss, where as I've had situations where I've walked into a claimed room by complete accident and gotten my brains blown out. The stop following rule (in my opinion) shouldn't be used to claim areas, it should be used to stop people from literally being on your ass making you have to direct all of your attention to them (so they don't kill you). It doesn't give you right to if that player comes past you/close to you in the map later to gun them down.

Yes, I want claiming rooms to simply not be a thing anymore as I believe it would save any unnecessary confusion. Obviously it's not a massive issue, so any fix that would restrict claiming rooms or clarify it would not really bother me in the slightest. I think it would be marginally better to just not allow it.

I find the wording in the FAQ incredibly careless and subjective. Agree with this change but I believe it will just make Traitors respond to alive checks more often, and possibly force Innocents into feeling obligated to respond. I believe a full on removal of claiming rooms would be good.

No. The electric remake that Kirby did is completely different as it's extremely transformative from the original Electric, it's a revamp. This is clearly the same map with "more stuff to do". Kirby also did not claim to have made a map in which he didn't make. I don't know if you realize this but decompiling then recompiling maps is extremely frowned upon when it comes to mapping and more than that when people like this Princess person rebrand it as their own it is legitimately stealing credit. This is not a complete remake. According to GameBanana "Permission from the original creator (CGMentos) of this map wasn't given for this submission" and it does not add anything monumental enough to add to our servers. Please don't decompile this map yet again and remove/add anything to it. I really hope when you finish your map that people don't add a few things to it and steal your credit without permission- labeling it a "complete remake".

This version of the map has since been removed off of Gamebanana, and the Steam Workshop as it was taken without permission from it's original map developer and hence reported. This "updated version" of the map took the credit that the original map owner had within the radar off and completely claimed the map as his own. The version of the map that was edited is the same version that frosty edited back a few months ago. It leaves a sour taste in my mouth that we rebranded this map as ours and that we went as far to remove the credit to the original map owner off of the radar when we only fixed minor parts of it. I'm not for adding this, because there is a difference between fixing a map and re-branding it as your own. As a map maker yourself I'm sure you understand why I feel this way. On to the remake this guy made itself, it contains a lot of spammy chat messages when you fall off the map, has multiple weapons we don't have on our servers (awps, scars, etc..) and obnoxiously advertises that this Princess guy made the map (which he didn't). The only things I remotely like about this map is the big floppy techno-color cock and the few T traps. Please do not add this if you guys have any respect for map makers.

EU has NN guidelines, probably won't follow in the US footsteps. Besides that, it's possible it spreads but with a lot of the world laughing at the US, probably not likely.

@Paralyzed The apostrophe in "ID'D" shows up as a weird symbol, but other than that it's fine.

Consider using the two-factor authentication. If you use the same password on any of the two (or more) same accounts consider changing your password so that each account is unique incase of websites getting breached. If you did both of the above you can also make your passwords secure and try to have some kind of a good anti-virus. Be careful of what wifi services you connect to aswell, https is great- but it's not bullet proof.

We can analyze the reasons for staff number being low/activity being low but the most effective solution will always be to get more quality admins. The idea presented in the OP is something that I don't think is a good idea currently. If we aren't going to trust someone with SA, I don't want to trust them with almost any of the admin commands. Something important to understand is that this place is a community run pretty much on peoples ambitions and passion. At the end of the day the community is held up by people who aren't paid dick and just really want to help for one reason or another. My point is if there isn't enough admins then you guys have the power to change that by applying yourselves, or encouraging others to apply. You can do way more than that for the community but those 2 basic things have a pretty big impact. If anyone has suggestions that we haven't tried or are worth revisiting I'm sure we will look into it. Lastly, I'm a million more times likely to come to a server if it's posted in shoutbox or if someone physically Steam PM'd me. The call admin plugin has a lot of bullshit reports that I can't be bothered to delve into sometimes. If there is a serious thing that you need I encourage any of you guys to add me and private message me.
